One of my favourite ferry crossings, weather permitting. Today was one of those rare calm and sunny West Highland days when there was nowhere else I would rather have been. The views to Ben Nevis and Ben More were stunning and we were escorted out of Kilchoan pier by a small pod of dolphins. Only a handful of passengers (4 cars and a motorbike) on this smooth crossing, which was surprising for the time of year but the lack of people only added to the enjoyment.

A small ferry with a quick and smooth ride across. It arrived right on time and wasn’t too busy, which made the journey pleasant. The route offers lovely landscapes on the way to Kilchoan, making it a scenic and enjoyable trip.

Great service. Had a little wait in Tobermory but it enabled me to get a coffee and a bite to eat at the nearby café. The crossing was very smooth but I still stayed near my bike just to be on the safe side.
