Very disappointed. My husband and I visited for the first time today with 6 children 3 of our own, 2 we look after and my sons friend. One of the children we care for is only 4 and has Down syndrome and 2 of my own children have Autism and ADHD. Upon entry I said I need 1 adult and 6 children as I wouldn’t be playing as I would be helping the youngest with Down syndrome and knew there was no way I would be able to play and try and watch her too. But was told unfortunately if I accompanied her on course then I had to pay otherwise could sit on bench whilst my husband took her and 5 other children round including another 5 yr old. I explained she had Down’s syndrome and would need my help so I wouldn’t be able to play but they just said that was the company rules.

So if you are thinking of accompanying a person with a disability and not playing yourself I would go else where. I have taken large groups of children to other crazy golf places both down by the sea front and at manston and even without a child with disabilities. If I explained I wouldn’t be playing as had to watch them all they were perfectly fine about it.

I think a little compassion and understanding of disabilities would go a far way. Baring in mind not only could I not play but she wouldn’t be able to play properly and to be honest she got fed up half way round anyway and we both ended up sitting on benches.

It was like they couldn’t care less. I will be sticking to my usual places from now on plus you can get discount at these places too.
