Margate Beach is a classic British seaside destination known for its wide sandy shores, stunning sunsets, and lively atmosphere. Perfect for a day trip, it offers plenty to do beyond the beach, including Dreamland amusement park, the Turner Contemporary art gallery, and charming cafes and arcades along the promenade. The tidal pools add a nostalgic touch, ideal for families and casual swimmers. While it can get crowded during summer and cleanliness sometimes varies, the vibrant seaside vibe and scenic views make it worth visiting. A great spot for relaxation, fun, and a taste of traditional coastal charm.

Visited Margate Beach on a day trip from London and it was such a great escape. The wide stretch of sand makes it feel like a proper seaside getaway. It can get busy, but there’s still plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. The beach has a fun, classic seaside vibe with food and drink options close by. If you’re coming from London, I’d recommend buying train tickets in advance for better fares, and keep in mind you’ll need to pay to use the deck chairs so it might be worth bringing your own. All in all, a perfect little break from the city!

It was a hot Friday in August when we came to the nicest sandy beach in Eastern Kent. It's a nice place to have a cold drink when having a picnic. There's arcades you can visit to win amazing prizes by earning tickets. You can buy perfect, cold ice creams by visiting a nice, beachfront ice cream parlour. Best Fish & chips are served in Margate's greatest fish & chip restaurants.

Margate, Kent, was an absolute delight, made even better by its fantastic beach view location. If you're looking for a fun-filled, family-friendly getaway with the sound of the waves as your soundtrack, this is an excellent choice.

The standout feature, without a doubt, is the direct access to Margate's iconic sandy beach. Waking up to the sight of the sea and being able to stroll down to the sand within minutes was a dream. The views across the bay, especially at sunrise and sunset, were truly breathtaking and provided a constant reminder of the beautiful coastal setting.

The holiday camp itself is well-equipped for families, offering a range of activities and facilities that kept everyone entertained. There was a good balance of structured activities and free time, allowing everyone to relax or explore Margate at your own leisure.

There are friendly and helpful people who always ready to assist with any queries or recommendations for local attractions.

Margate itself offers plenty to do,exploring the vibrant Old Town with its quirky shops and art galleries, visiting the Turner Contemporary, and of course, spending endless hours on the beach.

Dreamland amusement park is also a short walk away, providing extra thrills for all ages.

Margate beach was fantastic. It offered the perfect blend of seaside relaxation, family fun, and easy access to all that this regenerated coastal town has to offer. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable summer...
