Margate, Kent, was an absolute delight, made even better by its fantastic beach view location. If you're looking for a fun-filled, family-friendly getaway with the sound of the waves as your soundtrack, this is an excellent choice.
The standout feature, without a doubt, is the direct access to Margate's iconic sandy beach. Waking up to the sight of the sea and being able to stroll down to the sand within minutes was a dream. The views across the bay, especially at sunrise and sunset, were truly breathtaking and provided a constant reminder of the beautiful coastal setting.
The holiday camp itself is well-equipped for families, offering a range of activities and facilities that kept everyone entertained. There was a good balance of structured activities and free time, allowing everyone to relax or explore Margate at your own leisure.
There are friendly and helpful people who always ready to assist with any queries or recommendations for local attractions.

If you’re coming from London, I’d recommend buying train tickets in advance for better fares, and keep in mind you’ll need to pay to use the deck chairs so it might be worth bringing your own. All in all, a perfect little break...
