Nice retail park, lots of parking space. Some nice new additions recently such as The Gym. Really good selection of shops, some of my favourites are the Aldi, m&s food hall, home bargains and iceland warehouse. Then theres the bonus stores, the costa, nando's and kfc across the road. Honestly all its needs now is an IKEA or a b&q/dunhelm/the range and that would take it to epic levels. Special mention for the new parcel lockers they've just had installed!
A few things to note... theres only 1 vehicle entrance/exit, so when its busy, its BUSY. You could be queuing up for a while just to get out..
Another thing to keep an eye on (especially if you're a gym goer or indecisive shopper). They're handing out parking tickets like candy here. 1 second over 3 hours and they'll get you. The moment you enter the retail park the clock starts so please keep an eye on the time! Oh and its 90 mins on a match day so another curve ball to...
Read moreWent here 15th Aug,went to Currys looking at TVs, & Wren Kitchens, did shopping @ M&S & had lunch. Today (9/9) a parking ticket arrived! Honestly didn't see ANY parking signs, (going back to check on the position & signage), so didn't realise parking is only free for the first 3hours-PLEASE NOTE, then the vultures descend. We were going to go back to Wren to order a VERY expensive kitchen, & Tv from Currys. We have ALWAYS tried to support the High Street shops, & are now ordering the Tv from John Lewis @ The Trafford Centre(& cheaper). At least, we won't get another parking ticket, as parking @ THE TRAFFORD CENTRE is vast & ALWAYS FREE. Sadly, not going to return to Wren as the planning & ordering of the kitchen will take a few hours & don't want to give anymore money to these parking parasites. Will never visit here again, as Urmston (lots of FREE parking) & The Trafford Centre have everything we need....& MUCH more variety...
Read moreA large Home Bargains store with all sorts of things you need for everyday life at low prices and then an M&S to spend all the money you saved. There's also an Iceland with an impressive range of frozen and non frozen products- last time I saw frozen ostrich burgers! There's a good selection of antipasto type products.Their black olives are cheap and as good a any I've tasted. There's a Halfordswith a helpful cycle department. They seem to have improved in the last year in the auto part of the shop- you used to have to wait for ages. There's furniture shops as well but I haven't used them. And a PC world/Currys store which is ok. Oh and of course there's always plenty of parking spaces but quite a lot of erratic driving because of the no entry lanes and the refusal of most drivers to take the time to stretch their tired hands over to their...
