Fascinating tiny museum. Covers the history of photography and cameras while giving a peak into some interesting moments of Eisenhower, who lived in Abilene, KS. One of the interesting points was one of the Jeffcoat women I don't remember her name) became an expert in touching up negatives in the Early 1900s. A quick visit but worth the time.

It's a nice, free museum in the historic downtown. There are quite a few cameras plus some other equipment, but is otherwise a small museum that can be seen in 10-15 minutes. A small annoyance is that the descriptions of the cameras are on a separate book, so you have to look up the information rather than just read it on a placard.

We enjoyed this small museum. It does take maybe 10 to 15 mins to go through. The lady that works there was very nice, talked to my children and explained to them how everything worked.

The museum was small, but interesting. They had history of the Jeffcoat family, who owned a photography business for years. They have additional exhibits in the back. Today's was about The Cowboy (Abilene's history of cattle drives)--VERY INTERESTING! Plus the...
