My wife and I travel the US in our RV. We like to support local theater and have gone to dozens. We were in Abilene to visit the Eisenhower Museum (which is beyond great) and went to see Hello Dolly. To say we were surprised and pleased would be an understatement. The play was so terrific the entire audience stood and applauded for minutes. We simply did not expect the quality of the cast. The lead was an experienced and professional woman from NY, but the rest of the cast were fine arts - music and theater students. It was on a dark street, no lighted signs, entrance was tucked away and hard to see. If we had not seen a small, dark sign with the initials GPT parking, we would have kept driving in circles.
