Rivendell Bookstore — Local services in Abilene

I was super excited to check out this place especially with the great reviews. The lady working there didn’t say one word nor did she even look up at us. I had no idea what the orange stickers were on the books and / or where to find prices. She made me feel like I was taking up her space. No hello or goodbye welcome to the store - she had blue hair. Then another lady who worked there walked in… also just walked right by. I just walked out feeling uncomfortable and not welcomed after looking around...

This store is amazing! Lots of books - used and new - to choose from, but also a ton of interesting things you can't find anywhere else - anything from watercolor markers, to robot building kits, liquor infusions, puzzles, coloring books. Very cool. ...

Love this place!! They have a wide selection, which is fantastic, and they also are so helpful to order anything you can think of that's been published! They carry more than just books - puzzles, games, notebooks... the works! Highly recommend for any...
