Acworth Community Center — Attraction in Acworth

Went here with a friend for the Atlanta Vintage Guitar Show. It was alright. It was more about the guitars than anything and I'm more into watching bands than playing...Really, i don't even know how to play, but my friend brought 3 of his guitars to work out a trade if the right one surfaced. We got there about 90min before it was over so the full experience wasn't to be had. Alot of the vendors were already packing up, some already gone. You'd think that would be the best time to go to a show but these vendors really weren't interested in making any deals with what my friend had to trade. One said he had already put all he had away and didn't want to pull anything back out. Fortunately we didn't have to pay for the $20 admission because of our arrival time. When you walk into this modern escape you are faced with these gorgeous, exposed beams. You step into Tanyard creek overlook and are greeted with a lovely sitting area. You open the door to see a giant ballroom that can be used for meetings, luncheons, weddings, and even parties! Many don't get to see behind the scenes like me but trust it doesn't stop there. The industrial style prep kitchen is lined with state-of-the-art convection ovens and ample counterspace. Walking out of the prep room you now enter back into the common area to see a lovely two court gym and upstairs walking track. This center is the best and a must visit when in the city...

We are so happy and grateful to have this fun, new feature in our community! A great spot to gather to play, exercise, socialize, think, and/or work! Youth basketball has been really well-organized and managed and the team experience has provided an enriching experience for lots of local kids and families in a very nice and clean environment!! Staff are always kind, welcoming, smiling, and working hard, and the neighbors you'll see are the best cuz it's Acworth!! :-) Wish I could...
