With its wide selection of the latest releases, comfy recliners, and friendly staff, NCG Cinema is a top choice for moviegoers in the area. Here's why I highly recommend it:
Cutting-edge technology: NCG boasts digital and 3D screens, ensuring a crisp and immersive viewing experience for any film. They even have the MTX auditorium with its vibrating seats and immersive sound system, perfect for getting lost in the action.
Wallet-friendly prices: Tickets are generally cheaper than other theaters in the area, and they even have special deals like $6 Tuesdays and discount days for seniors and military personnel. Plus, you can refill your popcorn and soda for one purchase price, making it a budget-friendly outing.
Top-notch comfort: The recliners are plush and spacious, with ample legroom to stretch out and relax. They even have heated seats in some auditoriums, adding a touch of luxury to your movie experience.
Clean and inviting atmosphere: The theater is always clean and well-maintained, from the lobby to the restrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
NCG Cinema also offers a concession stand with a wide variety of snacks and drinks, including classic movie theater fare like popcorn and soda, as well as healthier options like fruit and yogurt.
They have a loyalty program where you can earn points for every ticket purchase, which can be redeemed for free rewards like popcorn and soda.
The theater also hosts special events like kids' movies and themed nights, making it a great place to celebrate birthdays or other special occasions.

Read moreFirst of all, we picked NCG because we loved the seating of the reclining chairs throughout the whole theater however, the theater we were in had only one row of recliners and when I picked my seating on the chart online, it appeared to be that row. When I arrived, this was not the case. There was an extra row in front of my seats, and those were the reclining chairs that were not shown online. Instead, I was seated in what is considered a standard theater seat chair.
Secondly, when I sat down, I noticed it was uncomfortably warm in the movie theater. I then noticed a team of NCG employees at the AC controls/ thermostat. They seemed to be trying to adjust the temperature of the theater. Unfortunately, for the entirety of the movie, it never got cooler in the movie theater. At movies end, I went and took a picture of the AC control/ thermostat, which read 83 indoor and 94 outdoor. (See attached photo) Another moviegoer even commented on how her husband passed out due to it being so warm and crowded from it being a popular movie choice. The cleaning crew was waiting outside the theater door, whom I commented to about said temperature, and their response was that they would give us a voucher at the front for the inconvenience. I had to go to the concession stand to find someone who didn't really want to hear any complaint. She simply just asked how many vouchers I needed for the size of my "party" (which was my mom and myself). Had we not reached out to the cleaning crew, we would have never known about the vouchers, and I wonder how many people walked out without receiving a voucher for the inconvenience. The crew should have had someone standing by the door handing these out automatically to every patron after the movie. Or should have warned the patrons beforehand and given them the option to come back when the AC was fixed. The AC seemed to be working in the rest of the theater, just not in my...
Read moreWhile I was there for a movie last Tuesday they experienced a power outage just as the movie I was going to see was coming on. While I can't rate them on that happening, I will rate them on the way the incident was handled.
We sat in total backness for a few minutes and then lights came back on. There was only 7 of us in that particular theater and we decided to just wait for the movie to start back up. We assumed everything was back to normal because no one from the staff came to tell us any different. We ended up sitting there for half an hour before one of the other patrons went out to ask what was going on. He was told that the emergency generators were in use and the movie might not start until the next showing time which was three hours away.
When there is a situation as this, patrons should be notified immediately as to what is going on. It would only have taken a minute for one of them to come to the door of the theater to tell us what had happened. And then to come and tell us that it didn't look like the situation was going to be resolved instead of us having to make the decision to leave on our own.
We were offered rain checks but that only makes up for the cost of the movie. What about reimbursement for the drinks and popcorn? And a raincheck does not make up for the absolutely dismal staff response to an...
