Winnwood Park — Attraction in Addison

Nice little city park in Addison with lots of bird and pollinator friendly plants. Parking is restricted along several adjacent roads. Decreased stars because Addison residents pay to maintain this park, but due to lack of dedicated parking lot, this park is mostly accessible to only the residents nearby. Addison residents should NOT be footing the bill for maintenance on this park. It feels like the adjacent neighborhood ceded the lot to the city just to avoid their HOA having to pay to maintain it! Don't be fooled by the beautiful gazebo and waterways. They are great for taking pictures; however, there are hidden spots nearby that are a natural light photographers dream come true.

Very nice little park with a pond with a fountain and a bridged-to gazebo that goes across the pond. There's a walking trail alongside White Rock Creek in a wooded area. Perfect place for family pics, or just nature pics in general. I would've given it 5 stars if there was parking at the park but there isn't.
