Iâm hopeful EVO will up its game because the concept is good and it would be nice to have another movie option. But right now, it has a lot of room for improvement. Their âluxury podsâ are disappointing, so I donât recommend paying the extra cost. The menu is pretty basic with very little creativity. The element I liked the least, though, was the ordering platform. There was a QR code at my seat that was connected to our seat (which was good), and you order and pay on the app. Minutes after I ordered, though, a server came to our seat and asked if we wanted to order anything. We told them we had already ordered, and he looked confused. Finally, our food arrived, but no napkins to go with our fairly greasy food. When my husband ordered a second beer (on the app), the beer arrived and I asked for napkins and some ice water. And we never saw the server again. But since we had already tipped in the app, his compensation was the same regardless of how bad the service was. Unfortunately, there was no way to call a server without ordering and pre-paying and pre-tipping on the app, so if you need something during the movie. Youâre out of luck.
The arcade is pretty fun, but the game pricing is confusing as heck. I bought a $10 card and played a few games, but I couldnât tell you how much each game cost. I thought I had 76 points left on my card and we played a game that, we thought, cost 8 points. At the end of one round, our card was empty. So, apparently, we had no idea how much each game cost.

   Read moreNice facilities, very poor service. This was my first time here since it was once The Look and I was excited when we walked in to see that the theatre itself still looked very nice. My friend and I bought our tickets at the kiosks and went to our theatre, which was also very nice and clean. We ordered our food and drinks before the movie started, but when they brought out our order, they had given us the wrong food. I tried to tell our server this, but she didn't speak any English. Eventually she did understand and left to fix the order. About 15 minutes later another server came out with the correct food order, but hadn't brought the drinks we had ordered yet. We asked and he said he would check on it. Another 45 minutes into the movie, we concluded they had forgotten the second part of our order, so my friend left the theatre to find someone. At the same time, we noticed another person had left the theater to do the same. A server gave her the water I had ordered, but then said they did see the order when it came in (almost an HOUR before) but hadn't made it because they needed to find equipment to make the drink she had ordered and wanted her to wait while they left to look for the equipment and then make her drink. She said she was in the middle of a movie and asked for someone to bring it to the theater and she said that he seemed a bit put off by the request.... At a theater where they are supposed to bring your order to you, this was a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I will not...
   Read moreOverall, not a good experience. It was actually my first time visiting this place, which it was recommended by a coworker who used to work at another EVO location a while ago. I called to ask a question before going there and whoever answered the phone was not polite at all (didnât even introduce himself and sounded kind of careless). The drinks and popcorn section was totally a mess, completely dirty, even when my family and I left the movie theater, same section was even worse (didnât attempt to clean it). When heading to the movie theater, there was nobody checking in people to the theaters, we were totally lost. We asked about 4 different employees that were walking back and forth to get the right information about the theater we were supposed to go. Theaters were not identifying which movie was playing on the screen outside (so we didnât even know if it was the right movie and the right time). Once we were seated and placed our food order online, the phone did not arrive until 30 minutes later. The food was delicious!! Unfortunately, the service and general organization of the movie theater in general was poor. Food servers were okay. Finally, itâs sad that a placed like EVO with nice facilities and good potential is not being managed properly. My family and I were fully aware that EVO movie theater is pricey comparing to other movie theaters - this is definitely why expectations were higher and not fulfilled at all.
