I began to see Dr. Hooten a few years back because I had numbness in my hands and I was referred by a close friend. I began to feel the numbness go away soon after going to Dr. Hooten. I moved 3 hours away to finish school and I did not trust anyone but Dr. Hooten to take care of my spine so I stopped receiving chiropractic care. I moved back and 1 year after working in a high demand physical job in the medical field along with gaining weight after having children, the numbness returned with a vengeance. I had intense burning so bad that it would wake me up several times throughout the night. I knew I needed to return but was reluctant due to finances. I took advantage of an exam and x-ray deal and that was the best decision I could have ever made. Upon return this time I had a better knowledge of the spine from school and went to my appointment knowing I had an issue with my C6 vertebra due to the specific pattern of my numbness. Before I said a word he pointed out the cervical issue along with other symptoms I was experiencing that I had no idea were directly related with the cervical spine. He thoroughly discussed the x-ray and gave me peace of mind that I was back in the right place to fix these issues. He welcomed me back to the family with open arms and also gave me recommendations for homeopathic remedies for the issues I was having. Not only did I feel the numbness reduce after the first adjustment, I now do not wake up several times throughout the night with intense burning, and the numbness is almost completely gone in my hands. Also, the Hooten care team worked with me so that I could afford chiropractic care. Everyone at his office genuinely cares about each person that walks through those doors. God has given Dr. Hooten a gift to heal and change lives and that is exactly what he has done for my family and I. He also does charity work which speaks volumes about his character and what type of person he is. I can feel the spirit of the Lord when I walk in this clinic and if your ready for a miracle to happen this is the place for you. It's funny how reviews with one star are told, I don't remember seeing you in one of our clinics. But if I were to write something nice they'd thank me even if I never even visited their facility. I was a patient and got a plan treatment and was very disappointed to how their system works. I paid $2k upfront and was given hope and good expectations about my condition. I did not miss a single appointment, however at the end of my 2 o 3 month therapy I told Dr. Hooten that I was not feeling any different to how I walked in to his facility the first day, he replied to me, we have to see another plan and see how you respond to it. All he meant was that I had to pay what another 2k or 3k just for another 15 second adjustment on my neck and spine, really!! Even when I brought it up about the pain I was still feeling in my neck he ignored it because he was busy leading some aerobic classes outside his facility or he had to attend other people. I don't want to sound selfish but if you cannot give the right attention to a single patient and understand his concerns and conditions for which he visited you, then he shouldn't be trying to see so many people at once, it's too much when everyone's condition is different and requires different attention, but he knew he'd lose profit if he doesn't attend dozens of people in a matter of minutes!
