I purchased a couch and round swivel chair from Rooms To Go in November 2023. Since the purchase, the couch and chair have proved to be of the worst quality and such a waste of money. The chair now wobbles, the couch cushions are extremely flat and the material is so loose. The couch also creeks and sounds like it is cracked. I had scheduled a service appointment in June 2024 to have the couch assessed on 7/1/24. The day of the scheduled service, the technician never showed up. I made multiple calls to Rooms to Go customer service when my time frame/window had come and gone and they kept telling me they could not get in touch with anyone. Around 6pm I called again, and was finally told the technician had an emergency and left for the day. The representative who informed was not the least bit apologetic, and there was no urgency to have my appointment rescheduled or accommodated to a time frame that would work for me, so I would not have to miss another day of work. I do understand they follow a schedule, but I took off a day of work to be home for that appointment. Fast forward to the next scheduled service appointment on 7/17/24, the technician came checked the couch and told me the couch frame was okay, but we did need new cushions. I was told I would receive a shipment confirmation email within 5 days, which did not happen. On 8/19 I received an email that my cushions were ready, and they were scheduled for delivery on 8/21 between 9am-1pm, again took a day off of work to receive delivery. The day of delivery I did not receive any text or emails updates regarding the delivery. I called customer service, again, after my delivery window passed and was told that the email I received was an error because the cushions are still not available to be delivered. It is 9/12/24, and I still do not have new couch cushions. I have made 8 phone calls to Rooms to Go Customer service inquiring about the delivery and still have been given no update. The last two representatives I spoke with told me they would email the “Parts Department” and promised to call me back with an update. SURPRISE, I’m still waiting to hear back.    Read moreMoving to the Orlando area I needed everything for my new home and wanted it delivered as close to my move in date as possible. I spoke to salesman Shawn, who decided I should order everything through him then so that I could secure the delivery date for the truck. I agreed and purchased a bedroom set and two bar stools. I was clear that I was not moving in until later in the month and that I could not be available on Tuesday morning. Long story short, the bar stools were delivered prior to me taking possession of the apartment so they were assumed to be stolen by one of the other tenants in the building. When I talked to Rooms to Go, they explained I needed to file a report with UPS, but when I went looking at UPS, there is no spot for company error. The woman at Rooms to Go was also was clear that the salesman should have put a hold on the order so that it was not delivered early. I will not put in a false claim with UPS and I have asked for a call from the Manager and have not received one. The bedroom set that was to be delivered was set to be delivered Tuesday morning, the only time I could not be available, so I canceled the order. I went to American Freight where you can set up a two hour window with next or same day delivery. In this busy world we live in it is near impossible to be available for a whole day. I will not shop here again and I still need Rooms to Go to refund the money for the two bar stools that were delivered to my home prior to me living there. I am sure someone is enjoying them, but not me. They have my contact number, I will wait for a response. So I did as they asked and sent the info to the TellUs account and they did credit the money for the stools.    Read moreMy husband and I recently purchased a ton of furniture from Rooms To Go at the Waterford Lakes location in the beginning of September. We had a great experience dealing with our two sales reps Mike and Lourdes. They were amazing. When we were checking out we asked if we were able to speak with a manager in regards to getting a discount on one of the delivery fees considering we were spending 10k on furniture. We weren’t expecting it to be waived, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. We were told at that time that a manager wasn’t in the store but that they would leave a message for the manager to call us back. That never happened. So a couple days later my husband called the store and again we were told the manager wasn’t there but they would leave a message for them to return our call. As of today 10/8 we still have yet to hear from a manager. You would think after spending that kind of money the least they could do is return a phone call. We weren’t even going to be upset if a discount wasn’t possible. However, they can’t even seem to pick up a phone and give us a call!!! Now we have a delivery set for tomorrow 10/9 and I was told any furniture that is ready would be delivered. I was told the mattresses are always in stock and it wouldn’t be a problem to send them with the first delivery. Not the case! I spent 30 minutes on hold to speak with a customer service rep who then told me I had to call the store. I called the store and spoke with a woman who is going to call me back to let me know if the mattresses I ordered can be added to my delivery set for tomorrow. I have never dealt with such horrible customer service and I feel as if I was told whatever just to make me happy to close the sale!
