Where do I begin to describe our incredible experience at the Olive Garden last night! Honestly, after the unbelievably disappointing start to our evening at the Chili's down the street – practically being ushered out the door after waiting 30 minutes just because we had a large group for my niece's birthday celebration and they were too busy – we were feeling pretty deflated. But from the moment we stepped into this Olive Garden, everything changed.
And it was all thanks to our server, Joffre. Seriously, that man is a ray of sunshine! His attitude was infectious, his friendliness genuine, and his attention to detail impeccable. He didn't just serve us; he cared about making my niece's birthday special. He and Tyler (who was also fantastic!) completely turned our night around. They both had this fantastic way of making us feel welcome and celebrated.
You know, we were actually craving Mexican food, but fate clearly had other plans! Every single dish that arrived at our table was an absolute delight. We had this incredible spread – appetizers that disappeared in minutes, comforting bowls of soup, fresh and vibrant salads, and entrees that tasted like they were made with pure love. And the drinks? Perfectly chilled and so refreshing! Even the quality of the alcohol was noticeable. I have to give a special shout-out to the endless breadsticks + dipping sauce – I could have made a meal of just that! And the Tour of Italy? Forget about it! (Hah!) It was a flavor explosion and such a generous portion that I even enjoyed some delicious leftovers to enjoy today.
Getting that unexpected boot from Chili's now feels like the best thing that could have happened! It led us to Olive Garden, Joffre, Tyler, and their wonderful manager, Megan, who also checked in on us and made sure everything was perfect. They didn't just provide good service; they created a truly memorable and joyful experience for our entire family.
If you're ever looking for a place where you'll be treated like family, where the food is divine, and where the staff genuinely cares about your happiness, please go to this particular Olive Garden. Ask for Joffre and Tyler – you won't regret it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team for turning what could have been a ruined birthday into such a fantastic...
Read moreBeen to Olive Garden Restaurants through the country and I have to say this one here is definitely at the top of my list as far as friendly hosts that welcomed us with a smile and seated us right away. Our waitress was at the table 1-2 minutes after we were seated, again made us feel welcome and was exceptionally nice (a smile goes a long way let me tell you!) The restaurant was very clean, tables, seating area, floor, bathroom and common areas, all very clean and pleasant smelling. From the drinks, salad, soup, main courses (I ordered the Chicken Marsala and my guest ordered the Shrimp Alfredo, both were simply delicious and very satisfying, any and all refills drinks, we wanted, more salad, breadsticks fresh out the oven, was offered and brought out right away. I don’t know, it just seems to me like this particular location was on it to the T compared to other Olive Garden locations. The shift manager (handsome younger man) came to the table to make sure everything was up to our standards, didn’t just do the “walk by, 2 second stop either” he asked if there was anything “he” could get us right that second, and actually removed a few dishes we were finished with from our table, instead of letting our server or someone else do it, this manager was definitely a team player, he had a great smile, with equality pleasant attitude, a really nice guy. I know I sound like I have a bit of a man crush lol and maybe I did/do, but all kidding aside, Manager Studly, and his entire staff are worthy of a five star rating! I live in Tampa about 2 hours west of Orlando, I was in town to pick up a dear girlfriend of mine, she too was very impressed with absolutely everything (except the man crush on the manager on duty, she just said, “that’s all you” good laughs, excellent dinner experience, and the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you Olive Garden for exceeding our expectations, next time I’m in Orlando, I will be...
Read moreUpdating my review after the ridiculousness with my to-go order today. I did not receive the text as I normally do to report to then where you park for curbside pick-up. I called the number on their sign. The first time it rang and rang for nearly 3 minutes before they pick the phone up and set it down. The second time it rang about 10 times then they picked up, asked how they could help, I explained, he said let me transfer you & proceeds to hang up. Happens again a second time & I explain the THIRD time I've already been hung up on 3x. Now they want to help. They tell me there is no or s er for me. I placed my order at 4:49 pm through their website & have the email. They then proceed to tell me it's impossible I placed an order as online orders stop at 4pm. I then again explain I have the emailed receipt and can show where the money was taken off my card. All of a sudden I get the text. He then request me to come inside because it's raining and they can't deliver outside becau a e of lightening, there was none. I am extremely wick and contagious and that was the entire reason for the curbside to begin with. Why am I tipping for a curbside order I have to go onside to gather? Then the boy proceeds to LIE to my husband who went in because he's slightly less contagious. Told him we must have called a completely different store as he's the only one that answers the phone there, now why would YOUR stores curbside signs list a phone number to a different store. Not to mention while with him on the phone he asked if I placed it at the West Colonial store and I read off the address to this store! I mean I'd hate my life too if I had to work for Darden but maybe find another job if you're that miserable or maybe this line of work just isn't for you. Kinda funny how I receive the text while he's still on the phone and my order miraculously appears,...
