TK Barber Shop & Spa — Attraction in Alameda

So honestly I don't know why more people don't use this barber shop in Alameda. No one is ever in there when I go. I mean absolutely no one. And the nice man, who I assume owns the store, just sits there and waits for customers. Everytime I go in he hops right up and asks me to sit down. It might be a deterrent to some because he doesn't speak English very well but the man knows how to fade. And you can't beat the price! Best fade I've gotten on the island for under 25 bucks. He takes his time and gives you a great cut Everytime! Little hidden...

We were excited to go here bcos it has 4.4☆. but My experience is not great!

Customer service is terrible! At the very least, be a little polite and respectful when speaking to your customers! both the older man and the younger one.

The haircut from the older man was awful. He finished cutting, but I had to point out that it was obviously uneven. I’m shocked he didn’t notice it himself! the left and right sides weren’t even!

And it cost $31?! I’m definitely not coming...

I specifically went there though it was a little farther from my place than other options and parking wasn't free so as to support a local business. I probably caught the guy on a wrong day but he was visibly unhappy and angry/rude when I visited. I had to come up with an excuse to bail than showing my neck to someone who is not in good spirits :) Also, tried calling in advance a couple of times to see if they are free but the phone was...
