it was great a few years ago before thet changed managers...the new one is really rude and doesnt care about people at all...recently they started shutting the gate all day and said only those with a key can get in, i have a medically fragile son who gets therapies and deliveries daily, they said to park on coal but coal is only two hour parking and my mom is our home health aide so shes here all day...no notice or general care of their residents needs
UPDATE my mom's plates were stolen, as well as like four or five other vehicles..i realize crime is everywhere however their 24 hr emergency help line has had a full inbox and nobody ever answers so if her car gets towed i don't really know what to do..we also moved into a bigger apartment in the same complex because we are low income and the one we are in now flooded like five times due to a plumbing issue with the pipes that run out to the main road...which could have been avoided had they cleaned them once a month as they told us they would do.. they have since switched companies that manage the complex and i have to say i am not impressed..instead of fixing things that NEED fixing they are putting things in to make it "pretty" ..oh..they also locked us out of our storage unit even though we paid for it..like changed the lock..and had to give us a new key...even though it was paid for..on time...i also would like to just throw it out there that the website where you are to pay your rent got messed up during the company change and says we have an outstanding balance..even though we gave them our bank statements and receipts showing we have never missed nor been late on a payment...because of this, we cannot pay with credit or debit so we resorted to money orders..which was fine until they told us they no longer would accept them unless they were bank issued...it's a lot of really annoying things all balled up into one complex and it makes me sad because the apartment itself is really nice for us..i just wish...
Read moreWhen I 1st moved in 7 years ago it was nice, Amanda & Octavia used to be the managers at the time i loved them & never had issues. When they left we got office managers every other month it felt like, in which every other month i had to keep providing my documents for my medical dogs, because SOMEHOW it was always missing from my file. I recently moved due to a 30 day vacate notice i received about a ârottweiler â i had in my unit that was âusing the bathroom all over the propertyâ , My Dog Is NOT a rottweiler nor even resembles one! so how i got vacated without proof of a ârottweilerâ is beyond me! The office manager is beyond rude telling me âThank God youâre out iâm so gladâ when i went to turn in my keys, looking at me knocking at the door TO TURN IN MY KEYS but not opening it until i knocked somewhat harder. Telling me to âGet out â raising her voice. how this is professional? Iâve emailed corporate several times. I do NOT recommend this complex unless you plan to be buddy buddy with the office manager, SHE HAS FAVORITES! Oh letâs not forget to mention i signed my lease (renewed it) and it somehow vanished from my file and got replaced with an UNSIGNED lease. i lived a full year with No AC. they came to fix it and said they needed to âorder a partâ and never came back with âthe partâ , instead brought me a small AC unit that connects to the window and barely even worked. I hired my own exterminator for the roaches and still couldnât get rid of them! my daughter whoâs my caregiver was made notice she couldnât be in my unit in which I PAID RENT FOR ,âfor so many hours a day. as i recall i was living in an apartment complex, not a...
Read moreThis property presents itself as a secure and well-managed community, but my experience has been the opposite. The gates, which require a key fob and are included in monthly rent, are never locked. This failure has directly contributed to trespassing and break-ins, and constitutes a clear breach of the advertised security we are paying for.
Conditions on the premises are unsafe and unsanitary. Needles and evidence of drug use are regularly found around the property, and one incident in the laundry facility involved an individual defecating on my personal clothing. Instead of treating these situations with the seriousness required, management repeatedly minimizes them. When concerns are brought forward, residents are told to consider the âwhole cityâ rather than the complex itselfâessentially excusing their obligation to address the conditions they are legally responsible for maintaining. This is not only inconsiderate to residents but also dismissive and unprofessional.
Managementâs conduct compounds the problem. Staff are often rude, hostile, and unwilling to accept responsibility, despite their duty under landlordâtenant law to provide a safe and habitable environment. Shifting blame onto residents while ignoring security and sanitation issues is unacceptable and negligent.
Given the cost of living here, tenants should expect basic safety, cleanliness, and accountability. Instead, what is provided is drug activity on the grounds, unusable security features, and management that refuses to uphold its responsibilities. For your safety and peace of mind, I strongly recommend finding...
