AMoA appears to be a great little art museum.

Though I was unable to see the works exhibited on the 3rd floor due to an ongoing class, I was quite impressed with those on the first floor in the "Pause... Cenla Artists Respond to 2020" collection. I look forward to seeing the others during a future visit!

It was also nice to take advantage of the free admission that the museum offers on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Lastly, the staff member present was very nice and helpful!

My only complaint is that the gift shop doesn't have...

What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon! Plenty of easy access parking and easy to find. Admission prices were very affordable. Staff was extremely helpful. knowledgeable. and friendly. Gallery is well setup and diverse. There was even a children's gallery area with art on display by all ages from kindergarten through high school. The Louisiana art history display on the 3rd floor was of particular interest. It all made for a memorable day for all us, including my 6 year old granddaughter. We will definitely be back. Well...

Really enjoyed our time here. There were some great displays to see, also loved the kids area they have setup for the kids. There was 2 floors to visit and see all the displayed art. It doesn't take too long but is a fun experience. The gift shop is very small and would have loved to see more in there. Overall it was really great to visit and looking forward to the next art showing they have.
