The food and service were really awesome. Have you ever had grits perfectly salted, buttered, and creamy? I only had to add pepper. This is a nice little diner in a drugstore like they used to have in the 50s-70s. The waitress was so sweet. The coffee is Community Coffee, so you know it’s good. And you can do a little gift or souvenir shopping too. They have some cute things and they’re reasonably priced. Our first time in Alexandria and we planned to hit Cracker Barrel but the reviews were terrible. We went here because the reviews were awesome. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You’ll enjoy it.
