Hunan Garden — Restaurant in Allentown

Literally the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Got my usual -- the General Tso's chicken, which is my go-to order wherever I go -- and i have never had it taste better. Anywhere. It was perfectly friend, the sauce was perfectly tangy and sweet, with almost no heat (also the way I like it) and even the fried rice in the combo platter was fantastic.

Also got my usual appetizer order of crabmeat Rangoon which was, as you may have guessed by this point in my review, perfect. Best I've ever had. In fairness, I did burn and lose some skin from the roof of my mouth eating them, but that was my own fault for not waiting for them to cool down (and eating them in a way that caused their perfectly crisply fried outsides to scrape the roof of my mouth). Totally worth it.

I've ordered all these things at many, many Chinese food restaurants over the years; some high end, some low end, in many different towns and cities in a variety of locations across the country. And this place served me the best versions of all of them I've ever had, hands down.

Now, I'm open to the possibility that it was just a lucky fluke, a happy coincidence where they fried everything perfectly. And maybe it's rarely like that there. But I guarantee you I WILL be going back there again to find out and i would recommend it to anyone looking for some good Chinese food...

anyone who buys food from here with a card just to let you know they will keep your card information in their computer system and not tell you about it. the last time i bought food from this place was in November and today i had a 25.75 charge to my card even tho i didn't order anything from them nor received anything from them. my question was how did they charge me if i didn't give them my card information. i tried calling asking for a manager and heard the girl in the background talking the them then she said they weren't in then i asked for the highest ranking member they have there same thing happened and i got the same person. so be fore warned don't buy here and if...

I tried to bite the bullet with this place, I really did ,it used to be good I don’t know what happened they jacked up the prices and the recent delivery took 1 hr and a half and I live like a block away , and honestly the food is not that great anymore ,I really wanna give these guys a chance ,but they been messing up for a while now ,it’s not like it’s just a one time thing ,I’m just gonna drive to the Chinese buffet on Hamilton by Dorney for now on at least I don’t feel ripped off there, the money I pay these guys for one delivery equals 3x trips with gas included in 2021 for a all you can eat at the spot by Dorney Park , sorry...
