Mainly a sit and relax park. Has porta pottys. Nice concrete bike trail and walking lane from State street over to tennis courts. It abutts the Bandshell for summer music fun and drama from advertisers 'information tents and some times free bees at the 4th of July concerts and during the Art on the Bay in mid July. It is the large park connected to the children s swinging and climbing Kiddee Park supported by the great members of Alpena Kiwanis Club. Doggie bags available on metal stands. Even a couple of old time charcoal grills on stands by Kiddee Park area next to City Boat Harbor and the magnificent walking pier that takes you out a little where fishees gather .
