Laser Team Challenge — Local services in Alpena

We did not know what to expect when we showed up for the 2pm slot this past Saturday (did not know about reservations; probably a good idea to do that); we had never played this style of laser tag before. We happened to see the building while on a boat tour the day before and looked it up online. Our two families had a BLAST! We were all drenched in sweat after hours of games (3 different games), we all enjoyed the team play, and we were all tired afterward. They sell cold bottled water if you do not have your own. The owner and his staff do a great job on the briefing and keeping an eye on equipment and the game to ensure that everyone has fun. WORTH THE DRIVE. Every time. If you have nothing to do on a Saturday, this is the best get-out-of-dodge family fun location in Northern Michigan. The staff are no-nonsense, knowledgeable, and safety oriented! It is so fast-paced, that one hour and a half game seems to drag on forever (which is great). My only disappointment is the degree to which everyone in my group undersold this place - SO much fun. I had been concerned that within 2 hours I'd get tired and want to leave early, but it felt like the game was over so fast! There is a pretty useful safety briefing beforehand for new players that describes areas in the building that could cause injuries (corners, stairwells, condensation, etc).
