Downtown Alpharetta GA — Attraction in Alpharetta

What a cool little spot. Shops. Restaurants. Bars. Really one-stop shop for date night! Jekyll Brewery is a must-stop for the craft beer enthusiasts, and be sure to hit the Airstream deck bar up top. Central City Tavern was also a cool spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This might get a bit of hate, but I'd skip UP on the Roof if you're more fond of the casual scene. We were excited to get a better view, but this place was stuffy, reserved the best views for reservations (who makes reservations at a bar?), and the staff was hardly customer service oriented. We left after a single drink. Definitely will not be on the list to revisit. But everything else, from the record shop, to the little boutiques, to the green for games and movies, DEFINITELY...

Awesome place. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The Wire & Wood Festival 10/13-1014 in downtown Alpharetta was terrific. The preshow was on Thursday night 10/12 at Avalon was terrific too. Lots of stages and genres of music placed throughout the downtown area for the event. The police were visible but they weren’t overwhelming. I saw only 2 drunk or under-the-influence people. There was 1 drunk guy that had to be escorted away from the main stage headliner’s last show of the evening. As I walked to my vehicle after the event was almost over, I saw a guy obviously under-the-influence of something talking to the Frankenstein skeleton that was strapped to a street light pole.
