ACT1 Theater — Attraction in Alpharetta

Our family has been involved with this theater from it's inception over 20 years ago. It is a wonderful, nurturing place for kids and adults to engage in the teamwork and fellowship necessary to create a great show.. All aspects of each production are handled in-house by dedicated volunteers; from the management, publicity, etc to the impressive array of custom-built sets, lighting/sound design and lovingly made costumes, creativity is clearly evident. I really don't know how they got such rave reviews. We went to see Secret Garden and it was a terrible production! The music was overpowering the voices and you couldn't hear the dialogue. Some of the mikes were not even working. The singing done one over the other sounded like a cacophony. We wanted to leave 10 minutes into the performance.
