U & Me Nail Spa — Attraction in Alpharetta

Beautiful Salon but terrible service. I came for a full set and pedicure. Penny who was doing my full set was very sweet but the older lady came fussing at her while she was doing my nails and they bum rushed everyone to the pedicure seats half way through my nail set. The lady who did my toes was very rude and half did her job while looking at me crazy the whole time and rushing, not to mention she also cut me with the cuticle clipper (causing me to bleed) because she was in such a rush. She was also throwing my feet back and forth on the foot rest, snatching the towels from under my feet in a rude manner, and had an attitude the entire time. I came to the salon straight after work to feel relaxed after a long day but I received everything but that. Environment was very hostile and I did not feel welcomed which is normal as a black woman. Firstly, the salon itself is beautiful. However the service provided did not match. I got a SNS manicure and classic pedicure. Penny did my pedicure and basically rubbed a little lotion around and barely clipped my cuticle. I will say she does an exceptional job painting and filing. If you are looking for a baby’s touch she is your person. Now the SNS manicure was horrible. Harry did my SNS. If you get him RUN!!!!! My nails were soooo thick and I had to request him to please file them down some. I like more of a natural appearance and his work does not deliver natural at all. He literally clipped one cuticle and said he gave me manicure. Mind you this so called manicure was done after the SNS was already applied….and to top it all off, he cut me. U & Me nail spa is by far my favorite salon I’ve tried. I was constantly disappointed by the quality of other options in the area, but was impressed with Kimi and her location as soon as I walked in. The interior is beautiful and intentional. I am always greeted as soon as I open the door and that genuine customer service is present throughout my entire service. I trust Kimi, Vivi and Penny and am incredibly thankful for them. The other staff are great as well, but I’ve only had the pleasure of working with those ladies. They have a special attention to detail and spend time ensuring I understand the process and pricing of what I’m asking for. I recommended them to anyone and everyone!!!
