Hair Salon Daniela — Attraction in Altamonte Springs

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a salon. Do not book with Kelly. The most disrespectful hair stylist I have ever met. I was looking for a local salon to be able to get my roots done while in Orlando and went in previous highlights done from another salon from my hometown. I just wanted my roots done but through some sort of miscommunication (the hair stylist claims because I never once said anything about altering or changing not one thing about the rest of my hair) left with BROWN hair. I came back the next day obviously upset as I came in with blonde hair, paid 180 DOLLARS to get my roots done, and left with brown hair and my hair stylist was SO disrespectful laughing in my face and trying to putting words in my mouth, IN FRONT OF THE OWNER, to try and change the fact that she did not do what I requested AT ALL. And when I told the owner how disrespectful that was she replied with "i'll have talk with her". If this is how she treats a client in front of the owner I can only imagine when she is not there. I have never encountered anyone so rude and disrespectful it was genuinely uncomfortable and a horrible experience. Standing there laughing and ignoring me while I tried to explain why I was unhappy/upset, and saying things like "I should've recorded our conversation", "your hair is not even brown" and "Oh she doesn't know what toner is". How unprofessional and straight up rude. Ended up removing the brown and leaving me with highlights the are now ORANGE after letting it air dry. I now have to spend more money fixing whatever was done to my hair. The way I was spoken to and treated over something that was the hair stylist, kelly's, fault was absurd. Never will I ever go back or recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting. I have never left a review on anything and the experience was so horrible that I felt the need to write an essay. Got a hair cut/style, lightening, and coloring. My hair had gone largely untouched for a year during the pandemic and now I wanted to do something interesting. I was able to work with Daniela herself. She was the best I've worked with in terms of communication. She texted with me ahead of the appointment about details and was forward with the price for what I wanted.

Daniela was great with communication during all the processes about what was happening and what was going to happen next. For me, I enjoyed that there wasn't a ton of small talk. Small talk for me is a big energy drain that keeps me from being a regular at salons where id just like to relax.

Half way into the process Daniela had an idea that she thought I would enjoy from our previous communication and I was a big fan so we went ahead with it and I ended up with something I really loved. When it was done she asked if she could take pictures for her social media which I didn't mind and I found was a fun process.

I waited a bit over a month to make this review to make sure I wasn't working off initial hype but here I am and the color has faded some but far less than I have seen doing it myself or at other salons. If you are in the Orlando/Apopka/Orange/ Altamonte area and have been meaning to find a new place to go do your hair. I would absolutely recommend coming here. The service is wonderful, the staff is so kind, and the location is beautiful! I got my hair done by the owner, Daneila and she was so kind! I have never been so happy with the way my hair has turned out. Daniella fit me right into her schedule at 3:45 even though I had only booked the day prior around 9:00pm! I showed her a photo of some wispy bangs that I have been meaning to get and they turned out even better than the photo! For me, my hair being long is really important, especially after another salon messed up my hair a few years ago, I explained to Daniella that I wanted to keep on as much healthy length as possible, and she delivered! By the end of the appointment all of my split ends were gone, and my hair seemed to be about the same length!! I also got some long layers done with her and while she was doing my hair, she recommended to me the best way to take care of my hair for my specific hair type as well. I cannot stress this enough.
