Altus Fine Art — Attraction in American Fork

This little hole in the rock is one of the best kept secrets of Utah County. Altus Fine Art produces artwork for Deseret Book, and Seagull Book. Altus has an area off their front office where they keep framed art considered to be seconds, I think, but look brand new and in perfect condition to me. I went there today to pick up a Mother’s Day gift for my daughter-in-law. The woman I spoke to said that Altus is very intentional with their pricing. They want to have artwork in every home. The picture I bought is of one of the 10 virgins and cost me about $35 with the frame. It doesn’t get any better than this. They also have artwork that is unframed and frames without artwork to choose from. Additionally, in the front when you first walk in, they have puzzles of artwork, both hundred piece puzzles and board puzzles for children. Perfect for Come Follow Me or a family home evening or just a gift. Their parking might be a little limited, as this is mainly the location where they prepare the art to go into stores to be sold. However, I always find a place to park, usually upfront. It seemed accessible to me for those who might be in a wheelchair. Super customer service! I was looking at a picture to give for a present. I needed it quick. I called them and asked how long it would take for an order. It was a few days. Tonya thought they had one on hand they could get ready that day. She checked and they did. They held it for me while I talked with someone going in on the picture with me. I also asked if the description about the picture was included. She said she could add it to the back of the picture. My husband was going to pick it up today. We live about an hour away. He was going to be close to when they closed. I asked if they could stay open a few extra minutes if he was late a few minutes. Tonya told me she stays a few minutes late and if he wasn't there by the time she left she would wrap it up really good and leave it for us. Tonya was great! She was very helpful! Amazing...

We were really impressed with Altus Fine Art. Exceptional customer service with the integrity of a good, old-fashioned small family business. Seriously, I called in and they said, "Oh yea, you're that person that ordered from Ontario a month ago. I remember you." By phone and email, they were very personable and helpful. We had an item shipped up to Canada and our order ran into some issues with customs at the border. Altus could've easily said "Sorry, that's an issue with customs. It's outside of our control. We can't do anything about it." But instead, they put in a lot of extra time to solve the issue, and went above and beyond to make sure all of the money & payments came out in our favor.
