Would this place provide some amazing Tex-Mex? You bet Jurassican!

POSITIVES: I came here expecting mediocre Mexican food. As far as street tacos (since that's all I had a chance to try), this place is DINO-MITE! The portions of meat were very generous, and thick cut. We're talking huge chunks of steak and chicken, compared to other street tacos I've had. My favorite part by far was the cilantro ranch. YUM!

The decor is very modern and cool. The walls and counters are decked out with fun plants and dinosaur figurines. The food is served on a small wooden tray with some nice liners. The toppings bar has plenty of options including cilantro, onion, pickled onion, fresh lime, and more. They also had decent Horchata!

Kudos to the amazing staff, who were so friendly and courteous in answering questions or helping us in every way possible to make our experience a great one.

NEGATIVES: the only thing that stood out to me was that there was a pool of grease on our trays even before we got to eating our tacos. The tortillas just seemed a little more wet than normal.

PRICE: the street tacos are actually comparable to other places around town, at about $3.00 each. But it comes with a side of chips! And the portion sizes are way better.

10/10 would recommend. Can't wait to come back and try one of their...

Jurassic Street Tacos is phenomenal. They have great food and reasonable prices. Their portions are large. My daughter and I will have 2 street tacos a piece and leave here full. I sometimes get away with 1 taco if I only want a snack. The meats are sliced thick. The taco fillings are generous. They even give you a few chips with your meal. They carry Mexican Sprite and Coke. I can't always get these in Utah County. My kids tell me the Horchata is to their liking..they consider themselves to be Horchata experts.

The staff is friendly and knowledgable. My visit today was filled with questions. I wanted to make sure that they had gluten free options. They have corn tortillas cooked on a separate foil pan so to minimize cross contamination. This is my second visit and have not had a reaction. I am severely reactive to gluten [Celiac]. I don't go out very often due to the issue, but it is nice to know that there is a place where I can feel good...

Brother Mine had the idea to treat me here as he's enjoyed the offerings since their food truck days. They were doing brisk business when we walked in and I was struck by how clean was the place. Ordered the Asada Fries Burrito immediately for having seen it on the online menu - steak for the protein. After a very reasonable wait spent admiring the artwork on display we were out. (This Canadian would rather eat in the comfort of his maker's house than on location but dine-in would not have been objectionable.) Wheh! The food. Delicious. Perfectly seasoned. I'm not a saucy guy and am often less than thrilled when tacos and burritos from other outfits are made bland to necessitate add-on sauces (which were readily available next to the service counter for aficionados). Sat down to eat and the Maker asks, "Would you go there again?" I would go again tomorrow. The shrimp quesadilla will be mine before I...

We stopped by here for lunch after a local project. The woman working the register definitely acted like she wished she was somewhere else. Not at all friendly. I tried the street tacos. I got chicken and it was pretty good. For $3 it came with two tacos and a side of chips. They have a toppings bar with spicy carrots, onions, cucumbers, jalapeños, etc. I also tried their hot sauce. Others in my group got combo meals. Many with steak and chorizo. Overall, everyone liked the chicken best. Some told me the steak was a bit tough. Another in my group got the nachos and really liked them. I tried a little and the guacamole tasted fresh and real. Portions were large but most combos were a bit on the expensive side. So, at least you get a lot of food. Drink selection was a bit lame with your basic Coke options plus Dr Pepper.
