Does God eat tacos?
An unknowable mystery.
However, if God were to be an enjoyer of tacos, I have no doubt whatsoever that he would get his tacos from Los Aribertos.
Now, I say this as a very casual taco enjoyer. I’m a white boy from Canada. The only tacos I knew for most my life were of the ‘bell’ and ‘time’ variety.
As I grew older and travelled further…farther…more distance, I experienced the joy of chipotle, cafe rio, and whatever hole-in-the-wall Mexican place I came across.
So I may not be the most authoritative taco critic in the world. But these tacos….were transformative. I’m not a Buddhist but if I were, they are my nirvana.
The chorizo. The. Chorizo. I thought I liked chorizo but after one bite of my chorizo taco I realized that every bite of chorizo up until this moment was a fraud, a cheap imitation trying to reach the greatness of this taco.
The fish tacos were indescribably good. Like how? How is fish this delicious? Do they raise them themselves in the back? Read them bedtime stories, kiss them goodnight, shower them with love? Then, when the time is right they hold hand and fin, look each other in the eye and realize that they are true partners in creating the most delicious tacos in this universe. The fish sheds a tear of joy and satisfaction as the chef beheads it with pride. It’s burial is that of a deep fryer, where it’s loving essence is fried to perfection. Then it is placed in a perfectly crafted taco with veggies and sauces that have been shown equal love and care. Finally, packaged up and handed out a drive thru window to an unsuspecting Canadian who doesn’t realize that his $3.99 spent on that taco was not just the cost of the food, but of the love it holds. Love you can taste with each life-giving bite.
Does God eat tacos? Who can say. But I found a taco worthy of celestial glory and it comes from...
Read moreToday marks the day I walk away from Betos and NEVER look back. If you have lived in American fork longer than 5 years you know that Betos has gone down hill DRASTICALLY. I’ve longed for the day someone would pick up the baton and start serving quality and huge breakfast burritos again..... enter Los Aribertos. Los Aribertos is what Betos never was. I was greeted with incredibly friendly staff, I asked for a burrito with extra cheese and sour cream and they actually added it! (If you have ever attempted this at Betos you know it’s simply an impossibility. Despite even the most impeccable clarification, they ignore your request like it never happened)
Los Aribertos ingredients are fresh!! (I know for you long time Betos fans, you likely can’t even comprehend something like this...but it exists!!!! At Los Aribertos!!!!)
The drive through was quick, the establishment is clean and inviting, and the food was piping hot!(another foreign concept for Betos customers)
I would scrape a Los Aribertos Burrito off of the floor of a bathroom stall and eat it before I go back to Betos again. I’ve funneled thousands of dollars into Betos over my 25 years living in American Fork and I’ve never regretted anything more than that after tasting the burrito just just had. Here I am sitting in my car shaking with excitement like an orphan that was just told he was being adopted as I type this 5 star review. I am so relieved that we finally have a place to get good breakfast burritos again. I can not wait to give away 78% of my bi-weekly paychecks to Los Aribertos until my heart fails. If you are looking for quality food at a fair price, with friendly staff... PICK LOS ARIBERTOS.

Read moreWe have been going to Los Aribertos since they opened in American Fork for dinner and their selection is great and the food is wonderful. The drive-up is quick and the evening staff is very good. Today I thought I would try one of their breakfast burrito’s. I ordered a ham and cheese breakfast burrito. The cashier repeated what she thought I ordered, and I repeated that I want ham and cheese breakfast burrito. When I got to the window and paid, I thought the price was a bit off. Looking at the ticket, I noticed that she charged me for an Asada Fries Burrito. Doesn’t even sound close to ham and cheese. I quickly told the cashier the mistake and she finally repeated to me I wanted a ham and cheese breakfast burrito. When I got my order, I mentioned that the ham and cheese burrito is less expensive that the Asada Fries Burrito and she insisted it was the same price. Not so, the H&C Burrito is $2.00 less. I was late for work so I wasn’t going to argue with her. I figured she probably needed the extra money more that I did. The burrito was delicious and I have no complaint about the food, but be very careful ordering in the morning hours, and speak very carefully and make sure they understand what you want and check the bill BEFORE paying. I am giving the morning staff only three stars, I do believe the evening staff should...
