Mattress Dealzz — Local services in Pleasant Grove

This is an update to the previous review from 6 days earlier: I contacted the Mattress Dealzz team per their response. The Mattress Dealzz team was absolutely amazing to work with. They determined some issues with our mattress and assisted us in finding a new mattress. They provided excellent service and genuinely cared about us. They were very thoughtful and expert in their suggestions and recommendations to get us into another mattress. Very pleasant experience and fantastic customer service. I feel that we made good friends with the team too through this process. Thank you for caring about us.

We have purchased a total of 5 mattresses from this American Fork store. 4 of them were a memory foam style and were for our kids; they like those. We told the salesman, who said he was the owner's son, what we were looking for in a mattress; sleeps cool and is a medium firmness. We bought for us one of their store brand mattresses that they manufacture, according to the salesman, and paid over $1K for it. He pointed out a specific one and said it would provide what we wanted. We went back to the store 45 days later and told him it was extremely hot to sleep on, far too soft, and that we had back aches everyday since; he said "sorry" and that it could not be returned unless it met the warranty requirements. So, we stuck it out while hoping things would improve. We were faithful at rotating the mattress regularly like the warranty said.

Within 1 year, it felt like we were sleeping in a bowl. We roll into the middle of the bed during the night because of how the mattress is wearing. When we lay near the sides of the bed we can feel gravity pulling us toward the center of the bed because of how the mattress slopes to the middle. When you look at the mattress, it looks just as flat as it did when we purchased it, but it's a different story when we sleep on it; we roll toward the middle. We have lived with this mattress for a long time now.

Horrible mattress with a ridiculous warranty. They need to figure out how to give warranties like the online retailers which are 60 to 365 days to use and get a full refund if you don't like it. We would have returned it at the 45 day mark. It has been over 2 years now and every night is the same experience. My husband and I went on the hunt for a new bed set since ours was from when he was a child and still had SPACE SHIPS on it. We went in to a few other places around town and were blown away by how expensive they were. Being in our early 20's and just starting out we can't afford to dish out a grand for a bed. I started looking on craigslist and I always know that the adds they put up for the cheap " but good" usually isn't all that good but we went and took a look. we stopped in to mattress warehouse first, such a poor experience, i don't even want to talk about the vibe i got as soon as we walked in the door. Thank goodness i had to be to work so we quickly left. the next day we stopped in to mattress dealzzz! just pulling up to the store was a good vibe. we walked in and before we even got in the door we were being approached. It was quick, easy and all smiles. the employees were all friendly and fun to chat with. they helped us find the perfect mattress for a perfect deal! they are willing to work with you all the way around from fiances, to warranty to loading the bed up for us! We got it home and its so comfy!...

I have been well aquainted with the mattress industry in times past in my life as I have sold them for ovee 15 years. My wife and I have slept on a solid laytex core bed for that same time. Our mattress that we felt was time to replace got us researching this industry once again. Saw Carson at the Pleasant Grove showroom. He explained the changes that have transpired since I was in this industry very well. With the knowledge we gained went to RC Willey to obtain more knowledge and cross referenced to confirm what we learned from Carson. We realized that we would get more bed for our money not buying from the big box stores and purchased our bed from them. There sleep warranty is awesome! We have to sleep on our bed at least 30 nights and if it isn't the best sleep on our new bed, they will make a one time exchange. We have 2 weeks on our new bed and my wife and I are sleeping much better. We hope not to have to use the sleep comfort warranty. ...
