I showed up to Iceberg with high hopes, only to be thoroughly disappointed. I made an order of 4 shakes and was only given 2 of them. When our first 2 shakes were brought out to us, (we were sitting outside of the car) the employee looked into the car when I told him that we were missing 2 shakes. After waiting for 30 minutes for our other shakes, I finally decided to go to the door and flag down an employee. I was approached by who I would assume to be the manager where I was told that I had been given my shakes and that I was a liar. I understand that your employees say that they gave us our shakes, but we did not get them. I would not sit for an hour and wait for my shakes if I had already gotten them. I tried to be very polite and professional to the manager while he tried to argue the point that we had already gotten our shakes and that we were lying to him. After waiting another 20 minutes, the manager returned with 1 free shake card and said that he was being nice for even bringing us 1 card. At this point this manager has become even less professional than before. After telling him to check the cameras and to ask his employees again, he returned quickly with a second free shake card and said that they would not remake our shakes because they had closed. I took our free shake cards and I went to our car only to still be very angry. I waited for around an hour and a half to only be given half of my order, be told that I was a liar, and to not be given a refund. I saw the owner as he was about to leave and he had a very respectful conversation with me as I let him know why I was disappointed. He offered to take my name and number and to try and get me a refund. As he went to get a pen and paper, the manager from earlier came outside and yelled at me to leave and to leave the owner alone. I responded respectfully and told him that I was talking with the owner and that I would like it if he would not yell at me like that. The owner shortly returned and took my information. I doubt that I will receive a refund, but at least someone tried to be somewhat professional. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Poor customer service, and the two cookies n' cream shakes we got had Oreo's on top but that was it. The rest was plain vanilla ice cream.
I came back again and had a much better experience! The shakes were amazing and customer service was good as well. It is still hard to go back knowing how my past experience was, but overall I'm willing to come back! My only complaint was that I could see some employees eating food by the take out window. Besides that, everything looked and...
Read moreShort review: The shakes are AMAZING in value, quality, quantity and taste. You will not be disappointed. Fries are hot crispy and sandwiches much better than Mcdonalds, etc. Very fast drive through both times.
Long review: I just went there today at 12:30 and also last friday at noon. Both times they got the order exactly right and we got combo meals both times because their lunch deals are an amazing value (only 6 or 7 dollars with the huge shakes)! Both times the food took only a minute or maybe two minutes longer than larger chain fast food places, and we got shakes both times. They definitely fixed the shake machine! I also think it was obvious why maybe the food took a little longer: because they cook the fries right when you order them, both times the fries were super hot and crisp not oily. They give you a free thing of fry sauce in a little cup which I really like and I asked if they put ketchup on the hamburger to which she said no and she gave me free ketchup too. The raspberry oreo shake was delicious and had tons of oreo and raspberries well mixed in the bottom and the top. Same with the peach shake the second time there were whole peach slices and blended peach chunks throughout it was so yum! And the shakes are ENORMOUS the mini shake that comes with the combo meal is supposedly 20 oz but both of mine were at least 24 cuz they put them in a second bigger cup with the smaller cup overflowing. Basically I will go here over and over probably just for shakes. I'm not a huge fries person and I'm kindof a burger snob I only really enjoy homemade BBQ hamburgers or from somewhere like Red Robin personally. Here they have tons of shake flavors and I bet they're all amazing. If you want to mix and match they only charge 69 cents more for a whole extra flavor. The regular size shake is only 20 more cents than the mini though I couldn't imagine finishing it in one sitting, it's probably enormous. I went here a little apprehensive because of some of the reviews but I am definitely a fan after...
Read moreHuge disappointment after being loyal customers… The ice cream has deteriorated now to nearly ice milk… substituting soft serve for real ice cream is a huge misstep. The shakes are what Iceberg is famous for (though we really enjoy the zucchini sticks and onion rings too). Now I don’t know that we’ll be coming back much. The feel of the ice cream in your mouth is different when it’s soft-serve. My daughter and I had the caramel pecan shakes in a chocolate base tonight. I understand that it used to be vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup added so that was okay, but now it’s just crappy soft-serve. And the pecans were slightly rancid… nuts should be kept in the freezer or fridge to keep their freshness if they aren’t rotated through as frequently. My daughter’s BLT was fine, as well as the fries, zucchini sticks, and mozzarella sticks. But the decent quality of them was completely overshadowed by the ice-cream (yes, I am mentioning it again… that’s how disappointing and off-putting it was). Shakes were a zero rating, with the food being four, so that averages out to the two rating I gave. The service was good- the young lady at the drive-they window was personable and darling. Go back to real ice cream, please. Don’t mess with your biggest selling point: in this world of fakery, stick to...
