Title: Extremely Poor Time Management and Customer Service at Elase Medical Spa
Rating: âď¸ (1 star)
My repeated visits to Elase Medical Spa have left me extremely dissatisfied with their services. Despite having a pleasant experience during the actual treatments such as facials and Botox, the overall lack of time management and customer service is a major letdown.
One of the most frustrating aspects of visiting Elase is the excessive waiting time. Regardless of the type of appointment, I have consistently found myself waiting for a minimum of 35 minutes, and sometimes even up to an hour! This is highly inconvenient and shows a lack of respect for their clients' time.
Once you check in, the staff seems to completely forget about your presence. It is disheartening to see them all gather at the front desk, engaging in conversations and ignoring the fact that clients are waiting. Despite the presence of six people at times, it is not uncommon to stand there for at least 5 minutes, waiting for someone to acknowledge your presence and assist you. This lack of attention and disregard for clients is simply unacceptable.
What adds to the frustration is that the staff's response is consistently the same when you express your eagerness to leave - a sudden realization of readiness to attend to you and a generic apology. It makes me question how much longer I would have been waiting if I hadn't taken the initiative to approach them. It is evident that Elase Medical Spa does not prioritize their clients' time and instead focuses more on their own work and social lives.
Overall, my experiences at Elase Medical Spa have been consistently disappointing. The excessive waiting times, lack of attention, and overall disregard for clients' time and satisfaction are major drawbacks. I strongly discourage anyone from considering this spa as there are numerous other options available that prioritize their clients' time and provide a more professional and...
Read moreI have been to the Elase spa in AF four times and itâs customer service is generally great. The spa is clean and everyone friendly.
I am giving this review three stars because of my micropen treatment. When I called to make the appointment I told her that I wanted micro needling that had been recommended during my skin profile. She asked a specifying question of which micropen treatment I wanted and told her I was unsure because it was my first time receiving that treatment. She scheduled my appointment and hung up. I showed up for my appointment and the person treating me was really nice and asked if I had used numbing cream. I told her no because I had no idea what she was talking about. She asked me other questions and then asked if I had a high pain tolerance I told her maybe. And she told me it could hurt but that was it. We proceeded with the treatment and it hurt. Throughout the treatment I asked follow up questions about the numbing cream and she explained that it was prescription. And at one point she said micro needling without the numbing could be torture, which it was. At the very end I brought up the cream again and she mentioned there were over the counter options but they arenât as good as the prescription. I thought why wouldnât you have told me at the beginning of the treatment. Iâm so disappointed that no one explained what prep work I needed to do and then once I had not done it help me to have better experience with over the counter options.
I am 4 days out from the treatment and nothing has changed. I think she may have gone light on me because I had not used the numbing cream. So disappointed I spent money on...
Read moreI have never left a less than great review for anyone or any business. However, I was not happy with my latest experience with Elase in American Fork. The lady I did my consultation with was wonderful. She was so nice and answered all my questions. We discussed laser hair removal for my chin, upper lip, and a few inches out on my jawline, and an inch down under my chin. She told me the total price of treatment would be $375 and I paid it to book my treatments. My first technician was very nice and covered the areas that I had discussed with the consultant. Everything was great! A month later, I had a different technician. She treated my chin and upper lip. I explained to her that I also needed my jawline treated a few inches out from my chin and a little bit under. She said that she could not do that and it would be considered another "small area". I told her the previous technician treated it, but she still would not treat the area until I paid another $375. I wasn't happy about it, but felt like I didn't really have a choice if I wanted that area treated and I didn't want to go to another place because I had already paid up front to book all my treatments. So we walked out front so I could pay. I asked if there were any notes from my consultation and she said that is just the way it is. I mentioned I was frustrated by the situation but there was no comment. I just don't think it is fair that I was told a certain price and then asked two treatments in to pay double. Had I known, I might have looked around at other...
