Mickey's Toontown is a magical spot in Disneyland where the world of classic Disney animation comes to life! 🎨🏰 It's like stepping into a cartoon — the bright colors, exaggerated shapes, and playful atmosphere make it feel like you’ve walked straight into a Mickey Mouse short.

From the moment you enter, you're surrounded by iconic structures like Mickey and Minnie’s Houses, Goofy’s Playhouse, and Donald’s Boat — all designed with fun, whimsical details. The vibrant and cheerful setting is perfect for younger kids, but adults can’t help but smile at the nostalgia and attention to detail.

The highlight for many is Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway — a trackless dark ride that takes you on a chaotic yet adorable adventure inside a Mickey cartoon. The ride is filled with surprises, smooth animation, and a catchy soundtrack that’ll stick in your head all day. The combination of physical sets and digital animation makes it feel like you’re truly inside a cartoon!

Goofy’s Playhouse and Donald’s Boat are great interactive play areas for younger kids. The playground-style elements let kids climb, explore, and burn off energy while parents relax nearby. Don’t forget to visit Chip 'n Dale’s Treehouse — it’s small but charming and tucked away from the busier areas.

Meeting characters here is also a major highlight! Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto often make appearances, and the lines are usually shorter compared to other parts of the park. Plus, the Toontown backdrop makes for some of the best character photos you’ll find in Disneyland.

Food options are decent too — Café Daisy offers some fun kid-friendly options and Mickey-shaped snacks, which are always a hit.

Overall, Mickey's Toontown is a perfect spot for families and Disney fans of all ages. It’s full of charm, and the interactive elements make it one of the most engaging and fun areas in the park. It’s a must-see for any Disney trip — pure, animated...

Mickey's Toontown inside of Disneyland, is a magical place. Toontown is less crowded a long wait to see Mickey Mouse, but that's to be expected. As a child I never got to visit Magic Kingdom. let along Disneyland and Mickey Toontown. Growing up I made a promise to myself that I would get to "Walt Disney World", Magic Kingdom, and I did. My first visit was around 1986, I took my daughter and my son. My daughter then 9 years old and my son 3 years old. I've been going back ever since year after year after year. I love Magic Kingdom, Disneyland and everything Disney. I've been blessed to make it over to "Disneyland Paris" and can't wait to get to Tokyo Disneyland. Each is magical in its own way. I'm a fan of the Mouse. My children and I still travel to the Magic Kingdom at least every other year. If you're feel stressed or need a pick me up, Walt Disney World, Disneyland is the place to go and just be a kid again, Walt Disney World is truly something for everyone, So, "don't ever grow up its a...

This could be so much better had there been some better parenting from other families and their kids or more enforcement from the park attendants. This is more for small children which is great, they need a place to enjoy too. But parents don't seem to know how to read that some areas are 2-5yrs not for large older kids! My 2yr old almost got trampled by kids that were too old to be there. The parents seem to think you can just let your kids run around without supervision around this area which makes it horrible for everyone. My little one couldn't enjoy anything without older kids pushing their way through to everything. We thought she'd have a chance in the 2-5yr area but we were wrong. Never again! Wish there were park attendants in these areas to enforce the rules for the parents that don't seem to want to parent on vacation. Shame on the adults for being lazy and ruining a fun areas for other kids. Parenting doesn't stop...

Disneyland Resort MARCH 2023 TIPS! This month comes with a new set of attractions, experiences, and ride closures: 🥨 DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL – Runs March 3 - April 25, 2023! See live entertainment around the park while you enjoy dozens of snacks and drinks at the marketplace kiosks. No extra ticket needed for this event but food is an additional cost. You can also purchase a Sip & Savor Pass with 8 tabs to redeem for snacks and non-alcoholic drinks (pricing coming soon). ✈️ SOARIN’ OVER CALIFORNIA – Also see the original version of the ride starting March 3 - April 25, 2023! Soarin’ Over the World will return after. 🪄 MAGIC HAPPENS PARADE – See it daily at 3:30PM & 6:30PM at Disneyland Park. However, due to Princess Nite on March 7 & 9, the parade will run at 1:30PM & 3:30PM on those dates. Disneyland Park will close at 8pm on March 7 & 9 for Princess Nite; tickets are sold out for this special event. Disney California Adventure will remain open until 10pm on those dates. 🚕 MICKEY’S TOONTOWN – Reopens on March 19! The date was pushed back due to heavier-than-usual storms in Southern California. Part of the land is accessible near the entrance to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. 💥 ROPE DROP TIP – I would still rope drop Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and then head over to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. On average, Rise still has a much longer wait time throughout the day than Runaway Railway. 🌟 Follow me for more Disneyland tips! *** #disneyland #disneylandresort #disneyparks #disneylandtips #disneycaliforniaadventure #socal #anahiem #disney
