Where do I start? I am physically shaking having to write this review in regards to this hotel right now. I checked in with my son, who's 4 years old and super excited to stay here. My husband and my 1-year-old were in the car waiting. We checked in, went up to our room, and had a very basic room. There is nothing special to it, not really anything on the walls. The table that holds the TV was decaying. There was physical evidence that you can see in pictures. I called the front staff to tell them about the screw hanging down, and they came in and told me to just not shut the door. They did not screw it all the way back in. They left it. My 1-year-old and my four-year-old go to the door to open it. And it's stuck again, so we could not open to receive the milk for my son's bottle. After trying numerous times to open it, the whole entire TV in the stand fell to the ground. Cutting my husband's knuckle scaring my one year old who was right there, where the t v fell. My husband went down to explain what happened. They shrugged their shoulders, laughed and said it's not their problem.I called had somebody come up to the room And he said they would have to investigate in the morning, turned around and left the t v and the stand on the floor with my one year old right next to it. I went back to the front desk, and I explained that this was not safe. I'm very upset. I used cuss words to which they called security on me. Security came up to the room, took pictures on his own, and said that everything was decaying, and he could see how it fell. He said the front desk staff thought the TV was broken. That was their main concern, not the table falling with the TV near my babies. I demanded they change our room. They did so into a much nicer room, nothing wrong with the current room that we were moved to.They need to get rid of those basic rooms because the furniture is not safe. Upon checking out, I spoke to the manager Chris who wrote down all my notes times and everything I showed pictures, explained security, had pictures, and management offered me another stay at the hotel with a deeply discounted manager rate. I do apologize, but I do not feel that that is enough to take care of what happened. The treatment of the staff at that hotel was unacceptable. The fact that things fell around my children and they shrugged their shoulders and laughed was unacceptable. I refuse to be charged $200 for an incidental fee for their stuff being trash. if you walk through the hotel. You can see how bad it is. Do not stay at this hotel for the safety of your children unless you plan on spending the amount that you would stay at the disneyland hotel.

I highly highly highly suggest you do not stay here and I highly highly suggest you recommend your family stay at other hotels.

The fact that this is a disneyland neighbor hotel is disgusting. The manager Chris very friendly. Uh, another gentleman came up and said he got a phone call in the middle of the night, not my problem.I apologize, your furniture is no good. I leave the hotel after checking out. I received a phone call and a voicemail from Chris, the manager asking for my pictures to email them to him. I will not do so they are posted here on this review. He can get in contact with his security person that was in the room and get pictures from him. This hotel needs to be shut down and fixed. You're in the middle of summer. There's no AC throughout that hotel. When you get to your room, they don't have the air conditioning on. You have to turn it on and it takes all day for it to cool your room down. If you want vending machines, they're there four dollars for a bottle of Sprite. Save yourself money, head down to target, and buy yourself a six pack of Sprite 44 dollars and fifty eight cents.

Oh! I paid for a special room rate. Included free parking and breakfast for 2. We would just have to pay for our oldest son. I didn't get a picture at the desk of the prices, but it stated that I think 7 or 10 dollars. We were charged 14 dollars. SHADY!!! Don't let the pictures they...

The room was fine for what we needed it for, my main concern is the plugs. They badly need to be updated. The plugs on the bedside table do not work, so we had to charge our 6 phones/ tablets/ batteries on 2 worn outlets that did work. This was true in both rooms we stayed in.

The beds were comfortable, the pillows were adequate. The room was very clean. Kids loved the castle bunk beds and slept very well. The bathrooms were clean but very small and dated. A pocket door would have made more sense. There was no fan for the shower. The amenities are basic. Shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash in a dispenser, no lotion. Bar soap. The hallways were extremely quiet at 8pm. Although that was just the other guests on a holiday weekend. If there was someone causing trouble there would be no staff to manage it.

Reservations: I extended our stay by one night about a week prior to our stay. It's understandable that the room type we wanted, queen with castle bunk beds wasn't available. So I'm glad we got to have the castle bunk beds for the 2nd half of the stay, but having to pack up the morning of an early Disney day was really stressful. And when we went to check out, the person at the desk was rude and sarcastic on Monday at 7am. She wouldn't put our cold items in a fridge. But our new room was ready and my husband had to jog the distance from the desk 4 times with our luggage so we could get going. Every minute matters for getting to the park early. If our room was available at 7am, why couldn't they have just put us in this room the first night? It would have made for a much less stressful morning.

Park shuttle: The shuttle drivers were kind and peppy, the only of your staff who were. I wish the shuttle ran a bit more often especially for the first and last shifts. It was stressful getting on the shuttle and people kept cutting in front of us. So maybe a staff member out front to manage the line might be needed. The bus driver mentioned the pick up and drop off schedule and that the shuttle stop was #13 (which is no where near 12 and 14). But we didn't hear it the first day. So we were so lost the first evening and almost missed the return shuttle. The 2nd evening went much better since we saw the sign in the lobby and heard the driver make the announcements..

Despite a very stressful morning, we got to DCA by 9am, 2 hours after when I wanted to be there and we had a great day. Tuesday we got into Disneyland by 7:30am and enjoyed the "rope drop" benefits. It was a very nice room to come back to after we were exhausted.

Dining: I wish there was a microwave even in the ice room area for popcorn or just heating up some food since there was not much available for dinner besides the sit down Japanese restaurant. We would have loved to eat there, but our kids were in no state for a sit down dinner. Take out might have been okay, but the website didn't work. I couldn't even look at the menu. The person at the desk didn't know if they did take out. We just ordered Domino's to our room and it was great.

We could see the fireworks from our room on Sunday night at 10pm. That was a nice perk even when our kids were asleep. The noise didn't bother them at all, but it was enough for my husband and I to know it was happening.

We didn't have much time to explore anything in the hotel, it looks like a nice hotel but we were just here to sleep, basically. And there wasn't much enticing us to be here spending more money at the hotel. The proximity to Disneyland was why we stayed here and...

BEWARE BEWARE I’ve stayed here many times before Covid, but they have seriously gone downhill. When we arrived we were put in room 2180, after our first night of sleeping there when I woke up for the park the next day I had weird itchy stinging bumps/bites all over my hands. At first I thought maybe I was having a weird allergic reaction or heat rash, but then the next day my husband woke up with large bites on his arm and back. We went to the front desk late and told them about our bites, and the gentleman at the front desk upgraded us and took pictures of our bites and told us they would put the room out of order for an inspection. The suite they put us into was not the cleanest. The sofas were stained, the shower had someone else’s hair stuck in it and there was a dirty towel from a previous guest still hanging on the bathroom door. We didn’t complain however as we were glad we were in a room where we weren’t going to be eaten anymore. The bites we had got really inflamed, itchy, my husband’s arm was pussing and bleeding and he couldn’t even wear a short sleeve shirt to the park because it was so embarrassing. The bites on my hands were so uncomfortable and itchy I wanted to scratch my skin off with sandpaper.

When we checked out of the hotel, we thanked them for the room upgrade but voiced how we would really appreciate getting refunded for at least the couple of days that we stayed in the infested room. The woman at the front desk told me that they had to complete the investigation first, and while she was looking in the system said that there were NO NOTES in the computer about our room switch or situation, which makes sense as to why Frank told me he can’t provide me with the internal notes from the system. If there were no note, it also makes me wonder if they really put that room out of use considering there is another review from a week ago complaining about bug bites as well. I had to call them on Monday 11/2 and spoke with Maureen. At first when I mentioned that I was calling about a bed bug situation, she thought I was another guest, so I am not the only one they are dealing with this right now. She didn’t want to talk on the phone at first because she said that she mailed me a copy of the mitigation report but I asked her to discuss it with me since we were on the phone. The “inspection” to my original room was not done until I checked out over 4 days later, interesting they kept a room out of commission so long during such a busy time. They sent me a list with different bugs and checkmarks saying that the inspector didn’t see any pests that could cause bites. I’m guessing they just have copies of that stockpiled and just change the name and dates on it when they receive bed bug complaints. They told me that because they could find no evidence of any bugs, (which is a complete lie in my opinion.) that they would not be providing me any type of refund to better the situation. Frank the operations manager called me today and was rude, dismissive and snide along with unable to solve a customer issue. We threw away our stuff that we had in the hotel because we didn’t want to bring anything in our home and infest it as well, Frank was extremely apathetic to that and basically told me I was an idiot for doing that but it was my choice.

Unfortunately this hotel has a great location close to Disney with a shuttle that is dependable, but save yourself the headache and skin and go stay at the Hyatt nearby instead. I will never...
