3.5 Star for the Grey Stuff $5.49. Overrated. It’s basically a chocolate flavored whipped cream on top of a muffin placed on top of a piece of cookie, with a hidden fresh raspberry in the center. First few bites were not bad and easy on the sugar which I prefer, but the more bites I take the heavier it sunk in. Shared it with my 2 and 6 year olds and we kinda had enough after consuming 3/5th of it to the best of our ability and had to toss the rest away. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good. But feel like can get better tasting ones elsewhere. Not sure is it related, but my 6 year old complained the left side of her stomach hurts after eating and had to go to the bathroom.
2.5 Star for the Poutine Flatbread $9.49. Not impressed. Beef, french fries, onion, and cheese clusters tossed on top of bread with some mildly spicy green stuff. My 2 year old took one bite and refused with his life to consume. My 6 year old tried her best but maxed out at 3 bites. I ate one out of 6 pieces, and tried to finish the 2 other half bitten pieces from my kids, and packed the rest away. Does not feel gourmet, rather like a creation of someone tossing whatever leftovers he found in the fridge to put together a quick lunch.
3 Star for the Gaston’s Famous Brew $4.99. Not interesting. Apple-Juice-like flavor with not that much flavor passion fruit foam. I was told the purpose is to mimic looking like a cup of beer. Purchase achieved at the sacrifice of taste. Surprised my kids are also not that into it, I would of thought otherwise but the 2 year old rather drink the yogurt instead.
3.5 Star for Ambiance. Thought it should look cooler. But only found paintings on the walls that kinda tried to make this place cool. The table we sat on wobbled nonstop and even turns with a light bump. Not so cool.
Had wanted to try since others gave great reviews, and is on my Disneyland restaurants bucket list before my pass expires. Unfortunately, very...
Read moreThey have a system to serve where first come is not first served. The seem oblivious of their surrounding even though they are well staff. I ordered my meal and went back for just a refill after purchasing a refillable cup. Nick was the cashier and we made eye contact when I arrived behind the 3rd person he was serving. There was no one to his left. After he served the two costumer in front of me and just before the 2nd Paid, a staff member placed a lady to Nick’s left side and when it was my turn I just say “Hi, I just want a refill” he looked at me and said I’m sorry, but I’m gonna serve her. No smile, no explanation, and just turned away and started to chit chat with the lady about his day and how hot it is. After the lady took her time to order with many modifications on her meals. I placed my order and he asked me for my annual passport which is necessary for the refill, mi ID which even though my name and and my photo are available with the annual passport and for which he didn’t even look at it because after he asked for my name. He had two “documents “ with my photo and name and he still asked for my name? There was no greeting, no “Bonjour”, have a move day. I don’t think Nick was racist due to the fact that the two costumers inform and the lady who came after me are white, but the discrimination and rudeness was intentional. I’m sorry for your bad day Nick if you had one. All I wanted is to get a refill of my drink and get back to my sandwich which it got cold when I ate it. Their service system does not work and Nick’s costumer service is...

Once upon a time, they had an amazing vegan patty but sadly, that's been removed from their menu. In it's place for the plant based option is the "Little Town Harvest Bowl" - "Quinoa, Roasted Mushrooms and Cauliflower, Arugula, Tomato, Tavern Potato Bites and Spicy Lime Aioli".
Normally, I'm not a big quinoa fan, most times I've had it .. it tasted bland to me and I imagined the dish would be an "earthy/healthy" sort of dish, which is great, but not what I was looking for at that moment. My wife wanted to try this however so we ordered one.
It was actually much better than I anticipated. The seasoning was really good, didn't taste bland at all, and the spicy aioli had a small but lovely kick to it, really helping to elevate the dish. I had imagined the potato bites would be actual pieces of potato but that wasn't the case for our dish at least, as instead of "potato bites" it was full of tater tots, which wasn't a problem for us 🙂
All in all, it was a good choice for us. It comes out of the kitchen super quick, it's a tasty bowl and probably more on the healthy side than not but doesn't taste like one might expect health food to taste (I'm sure the tater tots played no small role in that lol) and will probably end up leaving you fulfilled for a few...
