A Must-See Show at Disneyland: Storytelling at the Royal Theatre
If you're planning a day at Disneyland and want to experience something beyond the usual parades, make sure to check out the Storytelling at Royal Theatre show located to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This delightful performance features two of Disney’s beloved tales—Tangled and Beauty and the Beast—presented in a humorous and lively format with live singing, dancing, and storytelling.
Each show runs for about 25 minutes, providing a fun and engaging break from the hustle and bustle of the park.
Here’s the schedule for the shows: ( dated as June 2024) Tangled (Morning Shows): 10:15 AM 11:30 AM 12:45 PM
Beauty and the Beast (Afternoon Shows): 2:30 PM 3:45 PM 5:00 PM
The Royal Theatre isn’t very large, which makes for an intimate viewing experience. You can sit on the floor near the stage for a close-up view or take a seat on the benches. However, be aware that the view from the benches especially in the back row can be blocked, so it’s a good idea to arrive early to secure a good spot. When we watched the 5:00 PM Beauty and the Beast, the theatre was packed, and I had to use my phone’s zoom in feature to capture clear shots from the third row on the bench.
This show is perfect for when you’re feeling a bit tired from all the park activities or if you’re a fan of these classic Disney stories. It’s a great opportunity to sit down, relax, and enjoy some top-notch entertainment.
Pro Tip: After the show, head over to the food cart diagonally across from the theatre exit (Maurice’s Treats) and try their Garlic Cheesy Pretzel Bread for...
