I cannot possibly explain how terrible this restaurant is. The venue is poorly lit, the decor is bad in a non-campy way, and there's always a slightly off-putting sound of people trying their very best to make their way through a poorly organized cafeteria line. There's a show every now and then, but you won't get to see much of it because you'll be stuck in the aforementioned line for generally mediocre cafeteria food, and if you somehow aren't in that line, you won't be sticking around because there are only half as many seats as there probably ought to be, and of those, only a few have a decent view of the show, but you don't really want to sit in the "good" seats anyway because they're uncomfortable and the tables wobble just enough to be irritating. But in the end, all of that manages to be somewhat okay, because the show is SO TERRIBLE that your survival instincts will kick in and you won't stay long anyway.
Heaven help you if someone in your party gets called up to the stage to participate, because it will soon sink in that you are essentially trapped there for the next 20 minutes.
One star for at least being a good place to find air conditioning in the middle of the summer. A bonus star for the desserts though, because those...
Read moreThe Golden Horseshoe is such a charming and nostalgic spot in Disneyland! 🤠✨ It’s located in Frontierland and perfectly captures that old Western saloon vibe. The décor is spot-on, with wooden interiors, vintage chandeliers, and classic saloon-style furnishings — it feels like stepping into a scene from an old Western movie.
The food here is pretty good for theme park standards — they have tasty options like chicken tenders, fish and chips, and chili cheese fries. 🍟🍗 The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable considering it’s inside Disneyland. Plus, you can grab a refreshing soft drink or root beer float to cool down from the California heat.
What makes The Golden Horseshoe extra special is the entertainment. They often have live performances, including comedy acts and Western-style music, which adds to the atmosphere. The stage is beautifully set up, and if you’re lucky, you might catch a fun show while you eat. 🎤🎶
Seating is available both upstairs and downstairs, so it’s a nice place to take a break, relax, and soak in the classic Disney magic. The staff are friendly and helpful, which adds to the welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good food and a bit of Old West charm in the middle of...

Even though the GHR doesn't exist anymore, this stage still puts on great shows for everyone's enjoyment! You can order food and dessert here and the sitting area is big enough for large groups. You can view the stage performances from upstairs as well, offering a bird's-eye view of the show.
