Fantasmic! — Attraction in Anaheim

I absolutely love this show and think Disney does a fantastic job with it. It's quintessential Disney. There's fireworks, water projections, pyrotechnics, a killer soundtrack, every character you can imagine, larger than life props. This show has it all. Now, in my opinion, if you have one day at Disney and have to pick between this or World of Color, I truly believe WoC is the more unique show. However, this one is better for kids and kids at heart.

The ending makes me tear up every time as the Mark Twain rolls around. Also, the Pirates scene? Is so freaking cool. Every time. I just love it. It's been my favorite since I was a little kid and I still awe over it every time.

If you book one of the dining packages, do yourself a favor and try to find a spot that isn't at the handrails. We recently booked with Hungry Bear and our view was obstructed by the rails. Fantasmic is back in 2022! If you haven't experienced this show, I would highly recommend checking it out. There are multiple ways to view the show, from free standing areas to paid viewing areas with optimal visibility. If you're planning to watch from a free area, get there early because it fills up fast, like 60-90 minutes early. The later showtime is less busy but can be too late for little ones. If you want to pay for an optimal viewing area, most are seating on the floor directly in front of Tom Sawyers Island. They can be obtained with upgraded, day-of dining at River Belle Terrace (see menu pics) or with the premium dining package which releases and subsequently sells out 60 days in advance, but has acctual seats at the restarant with elevated viewing angles. There is also a grab and go package at hungry bear restaurant that has good viewing areas and is cheaper. Overall there are few bad viewing areas around New Orleans Square unless you're crowded out by other people, so plan for your desired...

Far exceeded my expectations! The Fantasmic show is definitely WORTH WATCHING. I loved how they combined water dancing, projections, fireworks, and live performers! Even though I had just finished watching the main castle Halloween fireworks, Fantasmic still gave me a completely different but amazing experience. The show lasts over 20 minutes and is spectacular from start to finish. I’ll definitely come back to see it again when they have new themes in different seasons.

BTW, I got the River Belle Terrace Dining Package for reserved viewing area, and we were so lucky that our area was right in front of the main stage! The idea of dining earlier and then heading to a reserved area before the show is fantastic. Both the restaurant and the food were great. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this such an incredible day.
