The Sleeping Beauty Castle is the icon castle of Disneyland. Still set up in a walkthrough format, you can see the some of the various scenes displayed as murals on the castle wall as you walk though it.

As you exit into Fantasyland you'll see a small statue of Princess Aurora and her beloved prince.

Sleeping Beauty castle is the most photographed icon in Disneyland and people wait a good while to get photo pass photographers to take pictures as well as their "magic shots." Sometimes it's easier to get someone to snap your picture and you can repay them the favor. The castle is not real big however, it conveys the lovelyness of the fairy tale as shown. Celebrating the 100th anniversary, the castle is decked out to commerate that. At nighttime projections are placed on the castle in as part of the fireworks show. It can get very crowded to see those however, if you are just looking to see the fireworks then there are other places you can go.

Disneyland keeps the simplistic charm of still being able to walk through the castle and gives you the feeling of royalty. After all it is a place where in your mind "dreams really...

Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough at Disneyland is a magical and enchanting experience that brings the classic fairy tale to life. 🏰✨💖

Walking through the iconic castle, you’re immersed in the story of Sleeping Beauty through a series of beautifully crafted dioramas and stained glass windows. The attention to detail is incredible — from the soft lighting to the delicate animation effects, it feels like stepping straight into a storybook.

The narration and background music add to the experience, making it feel intimate and nostalgic. It’s not a thrill ride, but the charm and atmosphere make it truly special. The walk is short, but you can take your time to admire all the little details — and it’s especially magical at night when the castle is lit up.

It’s a perfect spot for fans of Disney princesses or anyone looking for a quiet, magical moment in the middle of the park’s excitement. Definitely a must-do if you want to experience the heart of Disneyland's...

Halle Bailey singing “Part of Your World” LIVE at Disneyland! Hosted event by @disneystudios This event was a fantastic experience! Walt Disney Studios invited me to Disneyland for a special performance by actress Halle Bailey who plays Ariel in the upcoming live-action film, The Little Mermaid. We stayed nearby at the JW Marriott but had to be up bright and early for a 2AM call time at Disneyland Park! Disney shuttled from the hotel to Disneyland in the dead of night. I love being inside the park that late because it’s as though all of the magic is asleep, but you can feel its gentle presence. As we walked through Fantasyland, we saw lights pulsing in the distance. Then, just when we turned the corner, there were stands for coffee, hot cocoa, and—my favorite—freshly made churros. Shortly after we snacked, Halle took to the stage before Sleeping Beauty Castle. Her flowing dress locked into a podium that rippled near the draw bridge. Twinkling lights dazzled beneath the fabric like pixie dust. The first notes from Halle’s lips immediately sent chills down our arms. The small audience was captivated by every lyric, fighting back the urge to sing along. But the tears flowed regardless of how hard some of us fought them. Projections of ocean life illuminated the castle as our live-action Ariel belted Part of Your World’s highest notes. There was a noticeable pause of awe when Halle finished. It was like we were all screaming on the inside so much that it would take a full minute for the sound to finally come out. The applause reverberated everywhere—but it wasn’t over yet! We got to see Halle perform the song a few more times, and so here’s one of the takes that Disney’s permitted me to post. I’m so grateful for these moments but equally thankful that this film is just around the corner and out May 26th in theaters everywhere. I cannot wait! #TheLittleMermaid #HalleBailey #Disneyland #Ariel #SleepingBeautyCastle @disneylittlemermaid

Disneyland After Dark Throwback Nite 2023. The separately ticketed event taking place on April 18 & 20 is based on Disneyland’s Date Nite from the 1950s and 1960s. Guests can dress up and experience attractions with shorter wait times, special character meets, photo ops, fireworks, snacks, live music, and more! Every guest received a credential shaped like an original Disneyland ticket, a map, and a food guide. 🐘 FEATURED RARE DISNEY CHARACTERS included are Dumbo, Hyacinth Hippo and Mademoiselle Upanova from Fantasia, Tomorrowland Space Couple, Mr. Morrow from Flight to the Moon, Mother, and Father from Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. 🥨 EXCLUSIVE DISNEYLAND FOOD shown are the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich from Red Rose Taverne, and the delicious Root Beet Float Churro found near Sleeping Beauty Castle, Tomorrowland, and Frontierland 📷 PHOTO OPS based on former rides like the PeopleMover are found around the park. Disney photographers take your photo, and you receive complimentary downloads. Then, they scan your wristband and you scan the code into the Disneyland app under the photos tab. 🔑 MAGIC KEY FREEBIE pennants are found just outside of Pooh Corner in Critter Country The most memorable part of Disneyland Throwback Night for me was watching the fireworks from Fantasyland. We ate at the tables near Dumbo and Casey Jr. It was fantastic to see them ignite over the trees and watch the rides whirl with fireworks in the sky. However, if you wish to view them over the castle, arrive about 15 minutes before the 930PM show 🌟 Follow me for future Disneyland special event announcements! *** #disneylandresort #disneylandafterdark #tomorrowland #dumbo #disneyvintage #magickey #magickeyholder #disneythrowback
