SwingIt Trapeze — Attraction in Anaheim

Swingit Trapeze is tucked awhile in the small crevice between the Wells Fargo parking structure and the parking lot for the Ice skating rink. A $69 deal for 2 and 2 hrs of swinging fun on Groupon brought us to this very location. Regularly: $10 per swing or $25 for 3 swings.

We had a total of 4 instructors, 2 on top 1 on the bottom with the rope giving us clear instructions and 1 on the swings to do tricks with us.

We started off signing a waiver and than we practiced the simple steps of swinging. Than its off we go! The stairs alone can be nerve wracking if you're afraid of heights. Once you are up there you wipe your hands with chalk then you step over the ledge with your 5 toes dangling, with the instructor behind you holding your whole body weight from falling to your death.

Once you jump, you realize my, i should of done some arm work before this, because you need so much of it to do these little tricks! I really appreciate the small steps we took to achieving certain trick. I was upset that I never got the timing down because i never got to swing to the hold the instructors hands, but i def. was still proud of what i was even capable of doing it!

Tips: Wear socks, even though a lot of people didnt- i felt like it cushioned from running up the stairs and the hard netting, i actually came back with random baby bruises all over my legs.

So cool, what a unique experience!!! Would def recommend to anyone looking for a little fun and variety from everyday life. My friend found out about it thru Groupon, so it was basically free, but they accept gratuity, so we made sure they got a much deserved hefty tip. Staff was very nice and friendly, there was even a few kitties walking around the yard being very friendly. I felt like this might be a once in a life time chance to look back on and be able to say, "You'll never believe what I did today... flying trapeze!!" Seriously considering going back for the ariels/silks class. Our teacher said the instructor for that is great, and so was she, so I'm gonna take her word for it. Thanks for a wonderful adventure of an afternoon Swingit Trapeze, you'll always be highly recommended...

Very fun experience. I was introduced to it by a friend. This was my first time doing this and I enjoyed it very much. It's a family friend environment. The instructors were professional and friendly. I definitely recommend this place. I will be visiting again to learn new techniques and...
