Went here for the first time and I would go back. Clothes mentor is waaaayyy nicer and offers a farrrrr bigger selection. They didn't even have my size (2 to 4) but yet they had a sign on the window that said "not accepting small sizes".... 🤔 I asked the owner about it and she says "well it's all in the back". I'm looking around the store wondering where they are gonna fit all this stuff and furthermore why is it in the back instead of on the floor? I'd say they have about a fourth of the selection at Clothes Mentor (sorry to keep referring to them but it's a good way to compare) at least in my size. Seems to be more focused on home goods than good clothes and I'd prefer the opposite, but maybe a lot of people appreciate that about this store. I'll likely always choose Clothes Mentor over this store but I would definitely come back after a few months. Maybe if I give them some more time to get a little more organized it would be a better experience. There were people running around (staff) like crazy and bags everywhere and it just didn't feel very nice and welcoming and like a place you'd want to take your time in. They need to understand the psychology behind this. Rushed staff make customers feel that rushed energy and we're quick to get out of there. If they offered a more peaceful, calming, and welcoming environment.. I bet people would stay and peruse longer, I...
Read moreI anticipate every time I get the chance to shop the Savvy again , this store has so many different types of items to choose from ! it’s extremely exciting to see all the wonderful prices . The music and environment is so relaxing . I never feel like I have enough time to spend in there ! The owner Tracey is always so welcoming and loving to all . She goes above and beyond to help you and will even put outfits together for you on her lives . She brings happiness and laughter in her live shows and just gets my day started off with a good feeling after watching her every morning . Her staff are absolutely the sweetest , most respectful staff ever ! They seem to love their job and they work hard which only proves what a wonderful leader they have . I love all the staff at The Savvy Sister ! Also I can’t forget the trips I’ve taken with the Savvy crew that Tracey puts together, wether it be to the Mtn’s or on thrifting tours ! She doesn’t have to do these types of things but she enjoys making memories and offering her customers fun things to do and places to go . How many stores do this??? I just can’t give this place enough credit . I wish The Savvy Sister and all her crew much happiness and success. 5...
Read moreWell I really wanted to rate this consignment shop with more stars but … unfortunately, I just left the consignment shop feeling unwanted and targeted. This was my first time in the store so I was excited to look around and explore with my aunt. Everything was fine until leaving… Another customer and myself went out the door at the same time however, the door went off . I didn’t pay no attention to it because I had my keys in my hand . As I was walking to the parking lot I was asked to come back inside. I didn’t mind going back inside because I don’t have nothing to hide . Because I had a coach book bag/purse on I was immediately targeted as if I had stolen something from the store . I was asked to walked through the door twice without the door buzzing and was asked to open my coach bag . However, the other lady was not asked nor stopped to do anything and she proceeded to get in her car . I’m not going to pull the race card because I’m a Black woman but I didn’t enjoy the fact that I was questioned about the door buzzing that was no longer buzzing when I walked through it alone . The experience made me a little uneasy and I probably will not return . Overall, the shop is beautiful and has...
