Literally the worst. Long lines are problem but the least of my problem with this place... when there aren't long lines employees sometimes will just ignore you for several minutes before coming over.. I understand they might be in the middle of something but just rude to not acknowledge you and let you know they will be right there. I sporadically get the text messages letting me know its ready, but usually not. Most of the time when I go in there to check b/c of course I'm not getting a text for my monthly meds its never ready and its always a 20 minute wait to get the 30 pills into the container that should have already been ready. My last straw was after waiting for 15 mins at the front while they worked on figuring out why yet again my med wasn't ready but now were going to get it ready, they finally came over and said my prescription was 6 months old and could not be renewed....by the time they told me this and I had waited at the counter the pharmacy was now supposed to be closed and the next day was Christmas Eve....it felt like they just didn't want to deal with figuring it out b/c of course they wanted to go home...I meet with my med person once a month and she renews it in front of me...so I know this isn't the case. I was irate especially knowing getting this figured out on Christmas Eve was going to be impossible. The woman pharmacist there has no customer service and always acts so put off by having to come over and talk to you...even though you didn't need her too. I officially stopped sending meds there today and would tell anyone I know to switch. I've used Windsor Heights Hyvee for 12 years before moving 2 years ago and they were always kind and professional and my meds were always available when they were supposed to be and I always got the texts, so that I didn't have to come stand in a long line only to find out my meds weren't ready when they were supposed to be already. I also know this isn't just a me problem b/c its always happening to the people in front of me, my husband, and friends I know...
Read moreThe pharmacy is always rude to me every time I call them on the phone, talks over me, and treat me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I only go here because I have to for insurance otherwise I would go elsewhere.
The same thing happened the last time I called to have a prescription filled. She tried to tell me that I had to wait to get it filled, when the doctor clearly increased the dose and sent over a new prescription, and what do you know I was right. Then they filled it. Made me wait several days as they were not going to fill it, unless I called and told them to.
Today I was being questioned why I thought insurance would cover it at hyvee and not at Walgreens. I mistakenly had it sent to Walgreens and needed to transfer it to hyvee due to insurance contracts. The tone in their voice really upset me.
I’m tired of being treated as if I’m unintelligent and don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m tired of the pharmacy person that answers the phone giving me an attitude. I’m tired of feeling like an inconvenience. I agree with the other reviews on here about them being rude. Completely unprofessional. It’s an absolute pain every time I have to call and sort out and issue. I will switch to the other hyvee from now on, though I don’t have faith in it being much better.
And I swear DO NOT reply back with your basic copy and pasted reply of “can you please give us a call or email to management and sort out this issue”, that you reply to on every single other negative review.
You couldn’t even edit the name of the other recent review of 2 weeks ago and straight copy and pasted “Hello Name”. That is sad. That further proves the lack of care, and are only doing that for show. no I’m done calling this place I’m sick of it...
Read moreBad customer service. I've used the same insurance card for my prescriptions and my son's prescriptions for years. Never had a problem. Went to use it for my husband's prescription who is on the same plan as us and apparently I was using the wrong card. I was in drive thru and after getting frustrated and not understanding what the problem was I asked for my insurance card back and said I would just come inside. Instead of just giving the card back, the lady proceeded to try and argue with me about my attitude. Went inside and the manager also wanted to argue with me about my attitude instead of figuring out what the problem was over a 12 dollar prescription. Magically the pharmacist knew how to run our insurance card just fine and all of a sudden I did have the right card and was able to get my husband's prescription. No apology for their behavior or theor mistake or the inconvenience they caused. Nothing.
We have had issues before with prescriptions not being ready on time and just regular hiccups I'm sure you can experience anywhere. Today was the first time I have been treated so rudely for something that turned out to be their fault and their issue.
Needless to say won't be getting our prescriptions from...
