Orange Market — Attraction in Ann Arbor

Adore this place!

House-made food: My favorite part of Orange Market. It’s always a great day when they have their spicy tuna mayo kimbap! Fresh and crispy vegetables with a great balance of spicy and creamy. Japchae is pretty mild but the sesame flavor makes it fragrant and nutty. Green onion kimchi and raw marinated crabs are also some favorites. Their variety is always growing, recently adding mac and cheese and chicken salad.

Pre-packaged Snacks/Beverages: Variety of Korean cafe lattes, mochas, and matchas at great prices! Huge selection of chips, konjac jelly, cheeses, ramyun, ice cream, beer and more.

Frozen: They carry everything from frozen fruit to naengmyeon. Rice cake and fish cake selections are great. My only complaint is that the frozen kimbap could never come close to their house-made version 🤫

Produce: The basics for any Korean dish are readily available. Even have avocados.

Stopped by to check it out, since there's been a void in the Northside area of AA since Manna closed (oh, how I miss that place). Very clean store, with a good assortment of kitchen staples. It'll be good to go to if I need stuff like gochujang or chunjang. I do wish the selection of rice cakes for tteokbokki was wider (I got a different brand than my usual), along with the fishcakes, though, but that's just me. Orange Market is awesome. The food is amazing, and the staff are literally the nicest people here in Ann Arbor. The salmon onigiri is amazing, as well as the braised tofu. The food is so GOOOOOOOD I eat it every day. They also have excellent frozen meat and fish. They have amazing salmon, tuna, and even some steak that I found today! I am going to buy them tomorrow.
