Can’t say enough good things about this place. All thrift stores should be like this!! This place wowed me. First of all, it looks and is way more organized than a Ross or Marshalls. Things are cheap, unique and high-quality (sure there are some items that are mispriced too high sometimes, but they’re trying to do their best, but heh it’s going to a good cause). I’ve gotten amazing clothes like $200 Paige jeans for $30. So many cool finds. Beautiful housewares. Lots of kids toys. A great book and CDs section.
Now I’m gonna always get my clothes from there. Man, so many good finds.
The self-checkout systems work really well and it means there are never any lines. Wow.
Drop offs are a breeze because they have a special lane to zip in and out of, it’s the most efficient donation experience I’ve ever ever had! The drop off staff are friendly and fast.
There’s plenty of parking, unlike the nightmare situations at my local Goodwill and Salvation Army. Since they have lots of donation staff around, your car always has visibility and it’s a safe lot to park in.
There’s a security guard by the door and that gives me some peace of mind while shopping too. I really appreciate that it’s a safe place to shop.
They also constantly have new stuff!! Oh my gosh. I went there on Saturday then again on Monday, and was so surprised they had processed so much new stuff. Impressive. When you walk by the back of the store, you can even see the staff in the back sorting room hard at work.
To the management and...
Read moreI went for their 50% off Memorial Day Sale and it was amazing. I took advantage and bought baby clothes for months and months ahead. There was a great selection and I LOVE that it's organized. Every section is separated by size so it's easy to find. I found most of my maternity clothes here! It has it's own section where at other thrift stores the pants and shirts are mixed in with the regular clothes. You'll also find that the items that are the color of the week are usually placed together. SUCH A TIME SAVER!!!
update- one year later I've gone to a lot of 50% off sales here. They pretty much happen whenever a major holiday comes around. If you sign up for their emails, you'll get the 50% off sale notice a couple days before the sale day. If you get there after the store opens you'll have trouble finding parking. Theres usually a crowd waiting about 10 minutes before the store opens. I've loved getting my sons clothes here, really great quality clothes (that he quickly...
Read moreGood: Well kept and clean, large selection of clothing and "bric-a-brack" Staff has always been very friendly, some decent things at decent prices if you look hard enough. Bad: Only way you get a great deal here is if someone slips up with pricing. Many pieces overpriced, which is amazing because they get the stuff for free, and still people buy it because it's at a thrift shop it's got to be cheap right? Also this is a for profit thrift company that donates only part of profits to local charities, a much smaller percentage than the smaller thrift shops that used to be all over the place but have been pushed out by the likes of companies like "goodwill" and "savers". There used to be 3 other thrift shops within walking distance, now only 1 Do the people at the Bargain Box thrift shop just right down the street a favor, stop by, and give them some of your money that goes to the Arcadia assistance league, and is staffed by volunteers, and are wonderful...
