!!!!Parents beware!!!!
The stores theirselves are adequate for retail needs, however the property manager and the maintenance man are unprofessional and disgusting. Please read. Especially if you have kids.
My husband took our daughter into the men's room with him because she had to use the bathroom. Of course, he took her into the men's room so he could accompany her because she is only three years old. After my daughter went into a stall, an older man intercepted my husband before he could stand in front of it. He said he was maintenance and that he had to leave because he needed to clean the restroom. My husband told him that his daughter is in the bathroom stall so he couldn't leave yet, and tried to get in front of the stall she was occupying. The man then proceeded to claim to be maintenance, and said that he had to leave regardless, and my husband obviously refused.
This "maintenance man" even unsuccessfully tried to get between my husband and the stalls during this exchange.
Alarmed my husband hurried my daughter verbally and when she was finished peeing, he picked her up and swiftly left the facility, alarmed by the maintenance man's demeanor. Once he and my daughter were out of the bathroom, the maintenance man then followed them and told my husband that he was breaking the law by taking my daughter into the men's restroom and to next time send her into the women's bathroom by herself... mind you she is only 3 years old.
When my husband said that is absurd, he then said that is "mall rules."
So it is mall rules to make your toddler attend the bathroom alone if with parent of opposite sex? No thanks!
I am beyond disgusted at this employee - well, CREEP'S behavior, and can only assume management endorses this behavior until they address this issue.
As parents we do not take this behavior lightly and I am uncomfortable taking my children there in the future.
Just a warning to parents... If you go here keep your kids close and DO NOT send them to the restroom alone as long as this man works there. I am working on getting feedback from his superiors so I can at least get his name but the mall manager has yet to address...
Read moreWoooooW. I was confused by the layout of this facility. But, once you go in.... you find great city folk selections in Big Lots... (brands for less than half what we pay at home in Texas..) hobby lobby had 10 people per register, 3 lanes open, and higher quality holiday clearance items! Great selection of lake or beach home affordable decors, and craft items as expected of Hobby Lobby. The additional stores do have pretty trendy items in a low cost / priced selection... but don't expect to park & get out of this center in under 2 hours... the staffing is low & checkouts...
Read moreIt's a little lacking if you are from the DFW metroplex!! However, you probably don't want to be in that nightmare, and that's why you are here! I went to Ulta and Hobby Lobby. They are great. See my reviews for them.
The mall has very few shops inside. There is a Famous Footwear and a nice candy shop. There are a couple of other stores too.
There is a Chinese buffet that is not very good. Once we saw a roach walking on our table and had never been back.
Parking can be a little...
