Sitting there, you can take in the beautiful scenery as it is a nice and quick escape into nature. Also, it's accesible from the minutemen trail.

This is a wonderful Arlington park that lets you explore spy a pond to its fullest! There are other ways to or entrances to the pond but this one is great because of ample parking and very safe. There is also a boat ramp and an area that has been made into a beach for swimming. You can take your kayak to Elizabeth island which is a magical experience. Exploring the trails one might come across many oddities such as a really great birdhouse for birds to play in

2023: newly renovated kids playground and small beach on the bank of Spy Pond. The playground location is next to the Boys and Girls Club of Arlington. Wonderful area with adequate parking and a fun active vibe for active toddlers and kids of all ages. Great place to start a bike ride too as the minuteman trail runs right by the playground.

Spy Pond is one of my favorite places in Arlington. The path along the pond is always pleasant, and the views of the pond are great. My son is too old for the playground there now, but he and I still like to take walks in this area. Plus, if you're a Pokemon Go player, there's a ton in the game there to keep you occupied. :-)

This is a beautiful spot for walking, jogging, biking, sitting, picnicking, or boating. It's close to Mass Ave, but it feels so serene and quiet. There are good paths for walking and lots of lush greenery around the pond. There's a great playground for kids, too. And it's dog-friendly.
