I didn't have any expectations going into Zomsa, but I left a convert. Zomsa has some amazing flavors and textures, and I can't wait for my next visit. We got everything medium spice, which already had a good kick. The entrees came with rice, so it ended up being more than enough carbs.

Amazing, would absolutely get again Gorkhali kukhura ($19) - This chicken dish was incredible. The chicken was so tender and the sauce was thick and so flavorful.

Great, would get again Fried chicken momo ($13) - Perfectly crunchy on the outside and tasty chicken filling on the inside. Laccha paratha ($5) - Buttery layered bread, what's not to like?

Good, might get again Chana masala ($17) - Honestly my mouth hadn't fully recovered from the spice in the biryani when eating this, but I thought it was quite flavorful and good. Shrimp biryani ($19) - This dish had a lot of tomato and spice flavor, but not as many shrimp (maybe 6 total). The shrimp were good, though!

Wouldn't get again Chicken thukpa ($15) - Unfortunately this was pretty bland. It tasted better with spicy sauce, though!

We also got the mango lassi ($5) which was pretty standard and was a nice complement to the highly spiced foods. The service was good and the interior of the restaurant is elegant and spacious. I'm looking forward to...

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I live across the street from this place and I never tried it because I thought it was another Indian restaurant in Arlington center. (I’m not a fan of this type of cuisine). I met a friend for lunch and we decided to go in to have a drink. LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS GEM! …. OUR BARTENDER AYU Was EVERYTHING! I’ve worked every aspect of restaurants for the last 32 years and this young lady is one of the first the capture my heart and unintentionally win me as a regular. She gave us menus to look over and I can’t wait to go back and eat there. Their drinks were AMAZING! if you’re in the area , you have to check this place out. The energy of AYU, and the rest of staff and even their patrons. A++++++. It’s not a hidden gem, as I always see a line out their door but it’s one that I’m so happy I stumbled upon. Thank you Zomsa for employing this bundle of love and her excellent service. AYU keep being the pure kind and amazing soul that you are. Your boss and Arlington are very lucky...

Went for the momo and was not disappointed, they were delicious. However, the rest of the experience was subpar.

We started with two apps and then waited about 25 minutes for one to arrive. We asked about the other after finishing the first and it was finally brought out about five minutes later.

I waited tables for many years so I get being inexperienced, but it seems like the servers are not being trained on even basics. Our server spilled a little pot of sauce on our table and then just brought a stack of napkins over and left them on the corner of the table and when the busser took our plates and utensils we had to request two more and new utensils.

We had planned to order more food but we never saw our server again. When we were finally able to flag her down we just asked for the...

I recently dined at Zomsa in Arlington, MA, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a delightful afternoon The menu offers a fantastic variety of Nepali and Indian dishes, and every dish we tried was exceptional. The Momos were a standout - perfectly fried dumplings with a flavorful filling that melted in the mouth. The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich and creamy, with tender pieces of chicken cooked to perfection. Overall, Zomsa is a gem in Arlington, offering a perfect blend of Nepali and Indian cuisine. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special dining experience, Zomsa delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

I’ve had the fortune of being at Zomsa for their soft opening which was absolutely fantastic with a mini menu. Somehow, they managed to out do themselves with their full menu. What you see are the steamed chicken momo’s that are absolutely delectable and bring the heat down when dipped in the cold sauce they are served with. The other picture is of Bara, a lentil pancake with egg. The sauce it came with was refreshing yet savory. The waiting staff are also fantastic individuals who check in on you regularly! I did not get to speak on the ambience of the restaurant especially during dinner time which feels excellent for something like a date night. If you want just drinks, they also have a bar.
