My wife wanted her mother's wedding diamond reset into a pendant so she could wear it. It's not large or valuable, but carries a lot of sentimental value. Went to TC, they had a pendant in the case with an opal in it. Asked if they could swap the diamond for the opal. Owner says no problem. We are prepared to leave it for a week or two. Nope, come back in an hour she says. So, we walk around Mass Ave for a while, get a sandwich and do some other shopping, and back at TC's one hour later. Diamond is where the opal was, and they mounted the opal in the wedding band so Nana could give it to our daughter for her next birthday (we did ask to have this done). Sweet! Now, this is the part of the story where they definitely earned the fifth star. The new pendant looks good, except one of the mini diamonds surrounding the newly placed center stone looks "off" when we got home. We debated whether it was just a trick of the light or if it was set oddly. My wife decides to bring it back and ask if there is anything that can be done. The owner looks and says yes, there is something wrong with one of the little diamonds. 30 minutes later, they had the "bad" mini diamond replaced with a much better looking one that matched the rest in the setting.
