Texas Hall — Attraction in Arlington

My daughter's nursing graduation ceremony was held there. Parking wasn't across the street like we thought; it was in a parking garage about a mile away, and my wife was in heels. By the time we left, she had bleeding blisters on her feet. We tried to get a ride on the golf cart shuttles, but they breezed by us the three or four times we tried to catch a ride.

Took my daughter flowers for her ceremony, and they were in a decorative vase. After the long walk to the hall, we were told we would have to get rid of the vase or take it back to the car, neither of which we were going to do, considering the amount of money we spent on it and the distance back to the car.

A lot of this is probably not the fault of the university itself, but the nursing school for not having some accessible information about how to plan for coming to the ceremony. Don't understand the no flower vase thing, especially in a state where everyone seems to carry a gun...

Drove five hours to see The Wiggles. They were great. The venue not so much. I should have researched the seating before I purchased tickets. We were sitting in the second balcony. It was hot.

The seats are not staggered. When people sat in front of us, we couldn't see the show. Also, the way it is set up, when people were going up and down the aisle, the view to the stage was blocked.

The biggest thing, though, is that there was NO elevator. My disabled son had to go up four mini flights of stairs to the second floor. How is that possible in this day and age?

Again, I probably should have done more research.

I was here for a dance event the first weekend of May. This event was one of the best events I have ever attended. The parking staff was so nice, helping everyone find a spot when the lot was full. Even the staff inside the venue was amazing! There were little kids and parents running all over the place, even from backstage to the seating!!!! The staff was so helpful with their flash lights and even got up to show people where to walk. I have never seen staff so attentive in my life! I am so appreciative of how kind they all were and keeping us all safe. Would love to attend another event here. Would give 10...
