As a loyal customer I returned to Loveleen and tried on an outfit and apparently it was very scratchy and the dupata was very stiff. I asked the sales lady who was initially very polite when I walked in, if I could try on something little more comfortable and shapely. Indian outfits can be stiff and scratchy because of sequins, beading and embroidery etc., but this outfit was abrasive. They gave me another outfit to try which I was not sure of and I wanted my husband’s opinion but he was outside the store so I called him on his cell. While I was asking my husband to come in the store the chief sales lady asked me to take off the outfit! I explained to her very gently that I just want my husband to see it. She shook her head and asked me to take off the outfit. It was utterly bizarre as to how quickly her attitude changed! I was stunned. I guess they find getting a second opinion offensive. If I was sweaty or smelly or looked like a criminal and they asked me that I would have completely understood. They sell cheaply made outfits and not only are pretentious but classless! I went down the street and bought two lovely outfits. The ladies were GENUINELY friendly and helpful. I DO NOT recommend Loveleen , fake folks and...
Read moreAfter reading the reviews I was excited at the possibility of a vendor who would help me find the perfect attire for my daughter's wedding. I flew from Phoenix AZ, rented a car, and drove to Artesia. I was very disappointed. A young girl waited on me but she didn't seem to comprehend what type of style I was looking for. The focus seemed to be on finding something that was big enough for me. The older ladies in the store tended to ignore me and didn't seem interested in helping me find what I wanted. i was looking at a one outfit and one of the older women came over, took the outfit from me, out of my and proceeded to fold it like I was not even looking at it. It all felt strange. There was another customer in the shop who told one of the older women that she was rude and very negative. Maybe they were having an off day or something. If your small and petite you can probably find what you need. Not sure how much assistance you will receive. But such a huge...
Read moreMy husband and I are attending a wedding in Jaipur and needed to purchase 5 outfits (each) for the events. Online research pointed us to Loveleen Sari Palace and the experience far exceeded our expectations. We handed them the wardrobe instructions sent to us and they went to work finding the right items and making sure we will be appropriately dressed and coordinated. I especially appreciated how friendly, patient and direct the saleswomen were with us. They explained each event, why specific items are worn for each event, levels of formality, ranges of quality in garment construction, do's and don'ts at a wedding, etc... By the time we were done I felt fully prepared for all the different components that make up the wedding we will be attending. If you've been invited to an Indian wedding and have no clue, this is your one-stop wardrobe and education spot. Update: we just returned from Jaipur and got so many compliments on our outfits at...
