I frequently visit Ambala Sweets in Pioneer Artesia, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly made sweets and snacks filled the air, instantly making my mouth water.
One of the standout features of my visit was their newly added ordering kiosk. This kiosk makes the ordering process incredibly easy and efficient. It removes the need to wait in line, allowing you to place your order quickly and conveniently. The user-friendly interface lets you browse through their extensive menu, view detailed descriptions of each item, and select your favorites with ease. Additionally, the kiosk accepts a variety of payment methods, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free.
The staff at Ambala Sweets were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations and making sure I had a pleasant experience. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
Now, let's talk about the sweets! The selection here is fantastic, featuring a wide variety of traditional Indian sweets, each more tempting than the last. I tried the Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, and Jalebi, and they were all perfect – not too sweet, and with just the right texture. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite.
In addition to the sweets, I also sampled some of their savory snacks. The Samosas were crispy and flavorful, and the Chaat was an explosion of taste with its tangy and spicy notes.
Overall, Ambala Sweets exceeded my expectations. The new ordering kiosk is a game-changer, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable by removing wait times and offering multiple payment options. It's a great place to satisfy your cravings for authentic Indian sweets and snacks. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area – you won't be...
Read moreI and my wife went to see Diwali festivities and decided to eat dinner at this place and we ordered separate dishes for both of us.The lady on the counter wrote our order on a notepad. The starter part of the order came and while waiting for the rest half we started sharing the partial order. More than half hour passed and no food came. We asked a counter person as to what happened to the order and he was dismissive( it takes time). Shortly thereafter the lady who took the order gestured us to make the payment. We assumed that she wanted the payment made before she would release the order. We made the payment and went back to where we were seated waiting for food that never came .We waited and waited and no food came and after nearly an hour had passed and we approached the counter again. The Lady who took our order had no clue that she was supposed to bring our food. She did not even know what we had ordered. Meanwhile others had come and dined and left while we were waiting there for an hour. After an hour we had to remind the lady again what we had ordered and paid for and showed her the receipt. She began at this point to prepare the food we had ordered. and she began to prepare carry out instead of dine in as we had requested. By this time we were so upset and did not feel like eating and we asked for refund for the food that was not given. The environment in the shop is horrible with people going back and forth and these people are not responsive at all. We saw customers going behind the counter getting their tea. This was our second such encounter at this place. we came home and prepared food at home late at night. The whole episode made us angry and we lost the charm of Diwali festivities. I hope they can get their service in order and get some trained people to work...
Read moreSo unhygienic!! First of all, I had few bad experience on my visit here which is way I am giving this review. After my food arrived which was very average to taste, as I grabbed the plastic spoon which was packaged, but there was rice and curry on the package. I didn't even had anything like that in my order. I dont know if they just reuse those spoons if the other customers don't use it or something. They should have made sure it was clean before putting it in my tray. I am not someone who complains so I just removed the package and used it. As I was waiting for my Tea which was 30mins late, I didn't had any problem waiting until I heard the employee offering free tea to other customers and here I was waiting and thinking they are just busy and didn't had time to make tea. 😏 when I finally got my tea in a Styrofoam cup there was Cilantro on it, and they just gave it to me like that and I had to ask for another one. But the most disgusting thing I saw was the server making dahi wada without gloves and them using his naked fingers to sprinkle chilies on top and then just dusting off his hand, then again doing other jobs. The whole time, he didn't wash his hands once or use a gloves. Absolutely disgusting!!! I dont know how the city approves to run business like this. Untrained staff who have to idea of even basic hygiene. I doubt if anyone of those employees have their CA food handler certificate. Please think twice before going here, I went here because it was Monday and most places...
